Review summary

Great itinerary! The Allure is a beautiful ship with lots to do. We stayed in Sky Loft suite which was nice (largest deck we've ever had - usually stay in Royal Suites). Bathrooms and closet space both horrible. So many people on the ship, there was always a long line waiting to get int the Windjammer to eat. The Suite lounge (perk with suites) and Coastal Kitchen were excellent although concierges were extremely poor. Food was decent anywhere on ship. Awesome new automated process with finding and viewing your pictures although it only works if you get your picture taken with backdrop as you board ship (based then on face recognition similar to FB). RCL is testing lots of changes on different ships. Communication of what's being tested is poorly communicated in advance which is a negative if you purchase things in advance. Travel agents have no idea of what's going on although RCL encourages you to book through an agent.

Bathrooms way too small. Couldn't even open bathroom door all the way upstairs because door stopped by bed. Closet and drawer space poor. Loved the large deck with chairs and table. Suites need DVD players as standard with at least TV in living room area. Suite lounge and Coastal Kitchen that comes along with the suite really made a very positive difference. They were a great perk especially considering how pricey the sky loft is. Last but not least, for as much as we paid for this suite, it should include 1-2 specialty restaurants included as well as being able to get wine with dinner in specialty restaurants like what you get in Coastal Kitchen.

Ship tip

The Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge provided to suite guests are great. Wish we would have known about them before the cruise. In the lounge we could get bottled water, beer, wine and soft drinks from 11:00am - 11:00pm. We bought water which wasnt necessary (waste of $50) and luckily we didn't pkg
