Review summary
if an important reason for going on a cruise is the cuisine DON T step foot on the Allure. Food is not served hot (don't forget they are trying to serve 6000 people at a time) The fried eggs are like hard boiled eggs but flat not ovoid. The bread is obviously frozen bread thawed. Really poor quality sandwich bread, tasteless. The Premium restaurant Chops serves "dungeness crab and shrimpt cakes. Lets call it like it is bread crumbs and a LOT of seasoning fried in a lot of grease. This offering is listed as on of the restaurants specialties. OH the special doughnut offerings. More frozen dough, really sad. Rooms were clean and attractive. Entertainment was excellent, especially their Aqua show. The shoping area was just like your local mall but onboard. Ports of call typical. Get off the ship travel to the overpriced junk shops Different day same junk. My partner and I have been on many cruises all over the world and its the age old story You get what you pay for

Ship tip
For example: We found that eating breakfast on the 3rd deck dining room was much better than battling the crowds at the buffet. We could order off the menu if we desired, and if in a hurry, there was a full buffet to choose from.
