Review summary
First Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Been there done that. We have always been on Western Caribbean Cruise. Western Caribbean is so much better.... so much more to do. St Thomas and St Maarten was not what we expected. Where the ship ports at it is fine but once you move off the port area it is very dirty with lots of trash. What a lazy.... don't care about our island. Not much to see or do. Enough said.
The Allure of the Seas ship is real nice. If you get on this ship and bored then you are not exploring all the things to do. Plenty of things to do. Shows were Broadway quality. Entertainment is great. Our Cruise Director was Ken Rush and he was fabulous. Food was good. Anytime dining.... beware of this term. You still have to make reservation and when you get to the top floor of the dinning room you have to wait in line for someone to find a table to seat you. We ended up changing to 6 PM dinning and was on the 1st floor of the dinning room. So much better. We could see the beauty of the dinning room and no line to wait in. The Windjammer is the buffet style. This dinning room you can go anytime. We had to wait in lines to be seated, Did not like the wait. Overall the ship experience was great. Our rooms were good and housekeeping was great. Was surprised that Johnny Rockets charges to eat there. Shopping was not enough variety and it needed a store so you could buy drug store items. Our favorite was the ship entertainment. It was great! I would recommend this ship but go on the Eastern Caribbean Cruise. You will have so much more to do and see. Happy Cruising!

Ship tip
Don't do Anytime Dinning. You have to make reservations and still have to wait in lines to b seated. Do all the shows and all the game shows. They are all great. Love Ken Rush, the Cruise Director.
