Review summary

We had an incredible cruise in the Western Caribbean. This ship has it all: zipline, ice rink, swimming pools, rock walls, and activities galore. Everything about this vacation was absolutely spectacular. The hype lives up to it's name "the biggest ship in the world". Definitely a value for the price.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was excellent, my only critique would be the buffet (windjammer) was usually poorer quality than the other dining rooms. The specialty restaurants were great as well, Johnny Rockets was a big hit with our family.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great quality in staff, our cruise director Ken was a little "douchey" to me though. Not as warm and personable as other cruises we've been on. Other than that, every one was at our service.

Ship Quality

Easy to navigate once on board. They have touch screen kiosks around the ship so it is so simple to get around. The ship is organized into neighborhoods so you can visit central park, the boardwalk or the royal promenade. They spared no expense.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a waterfront balcony, the only way to go in my opinion. Folks with interior balconies rarely used them; a total waste of having a view if never used. Each room has a 32" flat screen HDTV which was great for viewing movies or tv on the ship.

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
It's great if you stay on the Royal Caribbean side of the island. They have private beaches, volleyball/basketball and cabanas. Venture onto the other side of the island and you hit the poor and poverty stricken residents; Heartbreaking to see
Don't Miss: Hammocks on the beach - free via RCCL

Falmouth, Jamaica

This port was still under construction when we visited, however, it is coming along quite nicely. It will be an impressive site once completed.
Don't Miss: Dunn's River Falls

Cozumel, Mexico

Always a favorite! Great shopping, food and atmosphere. Make sure to visit Pancho's Backyard, great food and fun music. Visit the ORIGINAL PANCHO'S near the FORUM SHOPS. Easy to navigate, taxi's are $7 each way from the port to downtown Cozumel.
Don't Miss: Pancho's Backyard

Pros: So many activities and shows

Cons: Windjammer Cafe (buffet)
