Nice cruise for the family! Lots of activities for the whole family. Great staff. Only things I would recommend is the Pool bars staying open in the evening and the Sports Bars only having one channel and repeating the same tennis match. Would have liked to see Closing Ceremony of the Olympics or PGA Championship

We booked an owners suite as a huge splurge for our family summer vacation. we did this thinking we would have childcare for our two children while onboard. Although royal Caribbean advertises a childcare nursery for guests 2 and under they do not have one on Adventures of the Seas. Major problem! Our only option was in room babysitting which costs $19/hour. We complained and they did give us a $200 credit. The vacation cost us over $5000 so I really don't feel like $200 is enough to compensate for the fact that this vacation was not what we thought it would be. Huge BUMMER! Also the suite concierge was confusing and frankly arrogant not a huge help when your dealing with this kind of fowl-up.

Our overall impressions of the ship are good.

age 50-65 it was our second cruise, so we knew what to expect, and still it was better than expected. the reason may be that we were a group of 12 persons and the first time we were alone.

We have cruised 6 times with three lines. Royal Caribbean is hard to beat! The ship was clean, service great and our itinerary on the Med. cruise was just what we wanted. Enjoyed both the Vivaldi Dining Room, and the Windjammer Buffet. Plenty of choices, although it would have been nice to have the steak/lobster entree without extra charge. I was amazed at the effeciency of RC in getting us ashore at ports-of-call. No waiting at all. In fact the only waitig at all was for elevators. They did not seem very effecient! Overall, I give RC a very high rating and highly recommend this cruise.

Although the ship is showing her age, it's in wonderful condition.

First of all, we had a great time on this cruise. Plenty of things to do everyday and night. The Ports of Call were great. We took excursions at each one and were very pleased. We couldn't have asked for better dinner tablemates. Every evening was filled with lots of stories and laughs. We made new friends that we will definitely stay in touch with.

Clean, well appointed, easy to navigate

The service was exceptional. The activities director, Abel, was the best I've ever seen. Great ice show! We were very demanding (nicely)in the dining room and our waiter, Zola, was fabulous. This cruise location was the best yet since we had 5 port stops. Excursions to snorkel, catamaran, kayak, hike etc were all fabulous.

The ship was very nice and everything was perfect

Large ship with very small adullt pool area, buffet supplied adequate. Felt they need to replace or upgrade areas of the ship. Worn/torn carpeting noted, windows could have been cleaned more often, several windows at back of ship need to be replaced as rusting noted and unable to have clear view due to window looking like it was foggy but not! Gym definitely needs fans or better air conditioning. Many with complaints of being too hot. Stateroom needs furniture upgrade.

The ship was very clean and had many hand washing stations. The staff was well versed in service excellence. Overall a great vacation!

Been on four other cruise lines and Royal Caribbean is our least favorite, by far. And, this was the most expensive cruise we have ever taken, with similar parameters.

This was a great experience for us as first-time cruisers. We were amazed mainly at the attentiveness and genuine friendliness of the serving staff. The ports of call were excellent and even though the food preparation could use some improvement, the wait staff made the entire dining experience a complete pleasure.

We enjoyed sailing on the Adventure of the Seas, it is a very large and beautiful ship. We thought the selection of food was plentiful as well as tasty. The entertainment was very good. I would probably book a cabin with a balcony next time since the interior cabin was a bit claustrophobic. The early departure set up is not very organized either. But other than that all was good.

Ship was nice and quite clean. My only criticism is the long length. I do like slightly smaller ships to shorten the distance from the dining room to the theatre. maybe moving walkways?

The ship is a wonderful. The employees are great. The food in the dining room needs some work. I was not impressed with the food. I realize that they are taking in to consideration the sugar free but what about sodium. Some of us have to watch our sodium intake and if the food is not prepared there, then there will be food with high sodium. But we did have a good time.
