Review summary

We had a great time on this cruise. It checked all of our boxes for what we were expecting on our cruise. It was our second cruise on Royal Caribbean and we walked away with some great memories.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was easy due to being escorted onto the ship once we arrived to check-in due to our daughter being Autistic.

Center Ice Rink

We had a blast on our last sea day ice-skating.

Casino Royale

5 out of 5

What can you say...you win some....you lose some!!

Entertainment

4 out of 5
There is plenty to do depending on how you want your cruise to be. We took part in the entertainment venues that we wanted to partake in.

Studio B

5 out of 5

Had a great time on our last sea day!!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had a great wait staff in the main dining room. Dzenan and Bobbi took care of every need we may have had. They were both very friendly and took extreme pride in their work and ensuring we were happy with our experience.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Yes the ship is an older ship in the fleet. But even with that said, I don't really recall seeing something that was just completely out of the norm for a ship at its age of 22 years old. The crew looks to take pride in providing the best possible experience for the customer.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had both 7275 and 7277 as ajoinning cabins for our family of 4. These cabins overlooked the promenade. One thing I will say is that during the 70's themed night the party is in the promenade and the farewell celebration is also in the promenade. So noise will.be an issue for about an hour each. Other than that the noise level from the promenade is minimal.

Ship tip

Be patient....the biggest area of frustration will be the elevators.

Ports of call

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

3 out of 5
I did not enjoy this port as much as I would have any of the other ports we have been to. I am giving it 3 stars because we got a taxi for $40 per person to take us to the Captain Morgan distillery and over to Leatherback brewery for lunch. Fredrikstad is not a great port city. Not alot of shops open and what was open did not have a very good selection of souvenirs to offer.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Had a blast....started in the ocean but it was jellyfish season I guess so we moved over to the swimming pool area. Great times. We all did the ziplines. No complaints from anyone since it was our first time at Coco Cay.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
Due to the time constraints on this island (which we could have been there longer) we opted for a cruise tour to Cane Garden Bay for a day at the beach. Best decision we made for this port. The ride over the mountain was crazy but worth it.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
We live local so we just drove in and had a relative take our car back home.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We were able to be escorted off at our desired time due to my daughter being Autisitc and the Royal ensuring that she would not have to wait in the long lines off the ship. Once in the terminal it was a breeze. There are no Immigration officials checking passports, just a facial recognition checking you back into the U.S.
