Review summary

After not having cruised for almost 10 years, this was a nice experience. This is a great route on a great ship. Looking to book our next cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very smooth and efficient process. Really like how the muster and safety protocols are loaded into the RC app.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main Dining room staff very personal and exceptional. Specialty restaurants tried were the Izumi and Chops Grille, both excellent quality. Cafe Promenade buffet offered a great deal of hours availability with breakfast options and then pizzas for lunch/dinner/snack times. Only way it would improve would be to have a small option on the pool decks. Windjammer also had a large variety of options to cover almost any food allergies or preferences.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool areas were enjoyable. Wish the Solarium had more availability. Fitness center got busy at peak times, but great with lots of options for equipment and times.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Outstanding Ice Show and Invitation to Dance shows

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent service levels from waiters and room stewards. Attention to details were great. Wish the rooms had more than one towel per person, but I also never asked the room steward for more.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All areas of the ship were maintained. I only saw one area on a pool deck where something was missed, but was gone the next day. It seemed the crew was working non stop to keep things maintained. Ship design works well, just wish the elevators were more efficient at peak times.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This is a perfect cabin for a family of four. I would book this cabin again!

Ship tip

Just be patient at peak times for elevators and allow yourself enough time to get to events. The ship is pretty easy to navigate.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Port is easy to navigate and get to the ship. Very close to the airport. We did not do an excursion since we have family in the area. The only improvement that could be made is more shade in the pickup area upon disembarkment.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Fantastic port and beaches in this port. Locals are very friendly and this would be a repeat for us in the future.

Belize City, Belize

The port shopping is ok, but systems went down, so unless you had cash, you did not get what you wanted. The excursion of Dark Night Cave Tubing was outstanding - a definite recommendation if you are going to this port.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
This stop should remain a must. We did not do an excursion. Since the pandemic, it seems all the beaches have gone into private clubs. Renting a jeep and driving around in a jeep is still a wonderful option.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
This is a really relaxing space as well as exciting with many options to choose from. My kids did the waterpark and we hung out at Oasis Lagoon. The only thing that could have improved is more space for shade and more staff at the Oasis Lagoon bar.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Very smooth process for leaving the ship. Only improvement would be to add more shade for the pickup area for passengers.
