Review summary

It's important to note that my family travels with real expectations - not incredibly high or out of scope. We know there's going to be 1000s of passengers, drunk people, and maybe even an older ship. But, if you go in knowing this and having an expectation or know that something may happen - hopefully minor, it makes the experience good.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Extremely easy, no hassle, quick, efficient. All port staff and agency were helpful to navigate the terminal

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Of the 14 cruises with RCCL, Adventure is probably the best MDR and WJ dining experience we've encounter.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots of activities to choose from, including being active or simply enjoying the band play. It's up to you to entertain yourself; RCCL and the crew are providing the opportunities.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent shows. They were really engaged with the audience.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The happiest crew we've ever encountered. Ever.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I love the Voyager class; they are right sized to be large enough for crowds to be dispersed but small enough to quickly and easily navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We typically get interior staterooms because we enjoy exploring, going to shows and activities. Our room was plenty large enough for my wife and I; and our two teenage boys had the next door room. No complaints.

Ship tip

Visit the bridge deck. It's an incredible opportunity to see inside the bridge.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
No excursions; simply embarkation. Clean, organized, well maintained.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

5 out of 5
Beachy. Lot's of beach access. Very friendly locals.

Tortola, British Virgin Islands

5 out of 5
An incredible port of call. Take a taxi when you leave the port gates. Beautiful, hilly country.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
I love Coco Cay. There's plenty of activities to do. Since it is their private island, it's not like going to other country ports - so it's wonderfully relaxing.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy. I have no complaints or not even neutral commentary
