I’ve been on many cruises. First time on this ship. Many times I laughed at myself getting lost depending on which elevator I took.

Cabin / Stateroom

Ninth floor balcony room. Was kept clean and tidy by the staff each time we returned to the room.

Learn the ship layout as quick as you can before you get lost like I did!

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

This is a port built by the cruise line industry. I have been here several times on excursions which were not so great. Just stayed at the port and ate and got a massage which was great!

Cozumel, Mexico

I have been to this port many times. My favorite excursion is to snorkel directly off the shore at the main park, Chankanab. It was too windy and snorkeling was not allowed. It was nobody’s fault. We just ate a little and drank a little and went back to the ship.

The onboard crowd did not make us feel crowded and all shipmates were courteous and friendly… for the most part, except for the casino roulette tables and slot machines. There it is everyman for themselves as they shove you out of the way with their lit cig leading the way as a smoke screen is blown in front of them. Rude and smelly.

This was our 47th wedding celebration, and both of our birthdays. We were both a little apprehensive because masks and sanitizers are all around reminders of Covid… but that is here to stay and why we went… to get back to cruising… We’re going again on same ship in November.

Glad you had a great cruise! We are celebrating our 46th anniversary on the ship in a few weeks, excited! How were the crowds now? And, I hope the tribute band is still on board! Thanks for the info!
