Review summary

Overall will I travel with RC again I’m going to have to think about it really hard. Will I return to CB most likely. I just feel RC has to do better especially when having the word “royal” in their name.

Dining style food was tasteless and sometimes cold it took awhile to get our food most nights. We attempted the Buffett style dining and realized the food was worse it was greasy, chewy it sat under the heating lamps in abundance that it was not very appealing.

Onboard Activities

We have always traveled CB and this was our first RC and we felt like the activities were not planned with a general audience in mind. For example trivia had specific topics like James Bond or 80’s-60’s song titles and teen activities. I felt if you weren’t over the age of 50 or under the age of 15 there were no in between activities for us. We enjoy general trivia which CB has and also enjoy their ship on a stick prize.

The service of staff was on point I just feel they lose sight of the quality of service. Yes they are attentive but mostly seem robotic.

Out dated, broken furniture, hard bed thin pillows need to pile 4 pillows to get some head support. Stained carpets and foul smell in stateroom bathroom

Thanks for the review. We sailed on Adventure of the Seas in 2019 and thought it was in great shape and most recent reviews give the ship high ratings. I’m not sure who CB cruises is, since you don’t list any previous cruises - maybe Celebrity, although I have never seen CB used, but have seen X as an abbreviation. If it is Celebrity, Royal Caribbean will be happy for your return there, since they own it as well.
