Review summary

I never tried cruising in December, but it was fantastic timing. I really liked the Galveston departing port. It has some great history and cool buildings. This was my first experience with royal Caribbean. I have a feeling that I might be done with carnival. It was a step above. Loved this ship, the crew, and the ports. Just a great time.

Embarkation

5 out of 5

Due to low capacity, and altered screening, it was fast and officiant. Hardly any lines. Total time waiting was maybe 10 min.

Food and Dining

Ate in the buffet only 3 times. The food was pretty good. Ate in the main dining most of the time. Did there was fantastic! Service was just as good. These cruising staff have really stepped up their game since returning back. My only draw back was everytime I got a mix drink of the same kind, it was different about 40 percent any of the time. One drink I liked had grenadine syrup. It of the 10 times I ordered it only 6 times did they add the syrup. Wish it was a bit more consistent.

Onboard Activities

Always fun to use the flow rider. Hot tubs were great. Played miniature golf a number of times, and figured out shuffle board for fun. Played that 2 separate times.

Entertainment

Wish there was more, but these have been adjusted due to sickness. Maybe after our world's current situation this could be a different story.

Cabin was clean and very nice. I love how this ships balconies have a steak wall between balconies. It feels more like your very own.
