Everything was so awesome we had a great time. Remember bring lots of sunscreen cash for tipping and don’t vape in your cabin, Actual accident he doesn’t actually smoke it except next to the pool.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Fast and easy less stressful than our previous cruise with MSC but that was also our first time.
I wish it was better understood of what you can bring on the ship I thought we couldn’t bring any water unless it was in cans( really, who buys water in cans) but I saw people bringing water in plastic bottles on the ship at embarkation. We did bring two bottles of wine on the ship(750ml each) I don’t even know that they checked them to see if it was wine or not.
Overall great experience our person that was giving us our vaccination bracelets was awesome in helping us put them on at the widest part of our hand, so we could take it off and on if we wanted to.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was all good. Love that there was a variety everyday at the windjammer I loved getting dressed up for dinner at sapphire and we did try Giovanni’s.
My personal opinion is, I will not spend extra at a dining experience like this again. Food was fine we ate it all and had a good time but the spaghetti bolognese was the same thing that we ordered at the main dining room the night before. The desert was amazing one of the best I had on the trip.
We also did Jonny rocket’s for lunch one day and that was very yummy will definitely do that again.
Onboard Activities

Husband used the gym several times. We spent so much time on the hot tubs/pools. When I could pull the others out of the water we had a great time plying mini golf and walking around the ship.
Husband wanted to try the flow rider but had previous to getting on the ship hurt his leg pretty bad and didn’t think it would be smart to try it this time.
Entertainment

We had a blast watching El Groucho and Mr Bonk these were our two favorites. Really keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Wanted to go to the ice show but we didn’t book it in time. There were no more remaining shows.(book early and then book dinners around the show)
Mickey the cruise director was awesome. Loved him so much.
Service and Staff

Everyone we came in contact with was so nice. Our room attendant was the best her name is Shondelle she would see us in the hall and always talk with us about our day and see what we did off the ship. She was such a pleasure. I loved walking passed rooms she was in cleaning and hearing her sing while she was cleaning.
My husband uses a vape pen just a normal buy from a gas station pen And accidentally hit it in our room when we were headed out. This set off the smoke detector and we ended up having the people on the bridge call our room, to see if everything was ok and then sent security to check out the room. I understand why all of that had to happen but I felt like a little kid in the principal’s office everything was fine and they let us off with warnings but the smoke directors are very sensitive so just be aware of that.
Ship Quality

Very clean and quick at getting cleaned up. We would leave our room for breakfast and come back within an hour and our room was all cleaned and ready for the day.
Watched the dining room waiters completely break down a table and reassemble in 3 minutes. Very quick and efficient.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a spacious balcony. It was an extra 20 dollars a day for us but I did enjoy the larger couch.
Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the water
We stopped at Sr. Frogs and then went to Paradise beach club and did the all inclusive. We did not book this though the ship at the time we went the cab there cost 15.00 and the all inclusive was 51.00 each. I almost booked this on line but wasn’t for sure we would go so I didn’t. Good thing, on line it was 64.00 each so we saved a little bit of money.
Tacos were great, shrimp was awesome, we also had guacamole with chips that was delicious.
And sooo many drinks.
I did feel the pressure when we were leaving of them wanting a cash tip. We however didn’t bring cash with us so I felt bad but they only got the tip on the card. Hopefully the company actually gives the money to the waitstaff 😬
We just explored on our own and did some shopping.
Make sure you walk past all the shops and cab’s and get the free shuttle into town. Save yourself a little bit. But don’t forget to tip your driver. They do an awesome job.
