This was an enjoyable cruise for us. We had visited all of the stops before. The junior suite (on the port "bump-out) was spacious and worked well for us.

Cabin / Stateroom

This was a very comfortable junior suite with lots of storage. Decks above and below were also staterooms, so no noise from venues. Lighting in the bathroom was a bit quirky and there was no night light. Drapes kept out light from outside, when closed.
Not one of our favorite ports, but there is shopping at the port. Royal Caribbean ships are stopping at Crown Bay port instead of the main port nearer town.
This is one of our favorite ports in the Caribbean. We always enjoy walking along the main street and stopping at the Guavaberry Store. There are a number of nice restaurants along the beach side. The sands at the beach are very pretty and very popular. Phillipsburg is about 90% recovered from the hurricane that caused a lot of destruction in 2017.
Second time we've been here. Seems like there were some changes. The straw market is still an area to avoid. The vendor market in the building is safe though and appears to have more reputable vendors. At $175, the zip line seems too pricey for a 45 second thrill. Last time, I did the coaster, but check the current cost.
Our favorite place here is Barachinas to have the famous Pina Coloda. This time we also ate a late lunch here which was really tasty. Walking around Old San Juan can be tricky for anyone who is handicapped. My wife walks with a cane and the sidewalks are narrow and uneven. Tha pharmacies here get crowded, if you are planning to pick up supplies.
