Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and painless. To be fair, I was in suite so went through the dedicated lines for that. We were threw and on the ship in less than 15 minutes. I think it took the photographer longer to take various pictures than it did to check in.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was good but not great. Mashed potatoes are the go to side for just about everything. The quality of food was better on other RC ships we have sailed on.

Windjammer Marketplace

3 out of 5

They had a varied selection so it was easy for everyone to find something. There is also gluten free options so that's good. The downside is the food wasn't always the freshest. The donuts were several days old when we started the cruise and I dont think they made any new ones. About half the time, the waffles and French toast was over cooked.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Center Ice Rink

4 out of 5

The show was good. It is more for adults than small kids. The skaters are great but it was more of a formal type ice show opposed to the How to Train Your Dragons they had last year. That was more action oriented and kept daughters attention.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The ice show was a little more technical and not so much theatrical. It was good but started loosing my kids attention. We enjoyed the comedian and other shows.

Lyric Theatre

5 out of 5

We enjoyed the shows.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
We only used them a couple of times after dinner but daughter had blast.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The design and cleanliness were fine. The ship is starting to show its age and needs a retrofit. The wood railings need stripped and unvarnished. RC was in process of doing that to one of them so hopefully they are doing the whole ship.
