First time on RCCL, wanted to compare to others we've traveled with. It was a pretty, tasteful ship...not gawdy like some. Really needs to improve the food though for adult passengers to keep coming back.

Food and Dining

Service was great, but food was just adequate. Didn't have a decent fish the whole time.
The buffet had mystery fish every day...no one knew what kind it was. Bakery goods were very good.
Onboard Activities

Entertainment was very good. Especially enjoyed the Schooner bar's piano man and the main showroom tenor.

Waiter Imaran and asst. Harshal would both excellent. our room steward Erehwon Fernandez did a very good job, but we normally have an ice bucket and waters and robes when we cruise, so that's on RCCL.

But I don't like that there are no dining spots near the pool or anyplace to sit outside to dine as on other lines. Too much space used-up for kids activities.
Yes. Grand Cayman Snorkel. You get what you pay for...boat took us about 2 feet from shore in 2 spots. never left sight of our cruise ship. snorkelled in the harbor, which I don't appreciate. Grand Cayman probably has beautiful reefs...we have no proof of that.
I like Cozumel, but the excursion we took was ridiculous. It was called "3 Reef Snorkel by Boat". We stupidly got on this rickety "pirate" ship. It was not designed to be snorkeled from and was barely seaworthy. They actuallly instructed us to wear our fins on the deck and walk to the side exit and jump in....like walking the plank. The boat had no keel, just rolled around. The crew did it's best to corral us, but it's a miracle there was not an accident. Should not be a cruise line sponsored excursion in the future.
Downfall if booking independent if you aren’t back, they aren’t waiting. I never understand how people think the food isn’t good. If you are that picky cruising isn’t for you.
Glad you enjoyed it. We were on AoS in November and loved it. We thought the variety and quality of food was excellent in both the dining room and buffet. As far as excursions, try booking independently instead of through the ship for a better experience.
