B/2/B Oct. 20 - Nov. 3. First time on Adventure but love the class ship. She needs some tender loving care. Great layout. Food was mostly good. Salty. Last day at sea we had the best desserts I've ever had on RC for the 50th Birthday. Wish they had them all the time. Staff was awesome!!!! Bar tenders, wait staff, even maintenance were great. Conceige in Diamond Lounge Rafael was great. Not crazy about all this suite guests being so pampered. Alot of them were first time cruisers. We're Diamond Plus and it meant nothing.
Embarkation

Using an old terminal in Ft. Lauderdale and had to drive to the parking garage in the middle of the port and take a shuttle back. Then when getting off the ship had to wait for a shuttle to take us back to the parking garage. Not a smooth experience.

Food and Dining

First time ever had to leave food in the MDR. It was so salty I couldn't eat it. It happened twice that cruise.
Windjammer Marketplace

Everyday seemed like the same stuff. Mac & Cheese everyday. It was really good but how much can you eat of it??? Burgers looked like dead road kill. Never even tried one.
Onboard Activities

Same as all ships there were lounge chair hogs. No one did anything about that. They had the theater chairs all roped off for Suites and Pinnacles. Which is fine but the whole week we only saw four people use them. It use to be open for Diamond, Diamond Plus but not anymore. This is one of the perks we had looked forward to when reaching Diamond Plus but that doesn't mean anything anymore. Sad.....
Entertainment

Saw Elvis impersonator. He really did resemble Elvis and had a good voice. Really impressed the older ladies in the first isle.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff

The staff were all excellent. Couldn't ask for better service anywhere.
Ship Quality

Adventure needs a face lift. The beds were the worst we've come across. Sheets had holes in them and so did towels.
Cabin / Stateroom

Bed was AWFUL............We had the room attendant put three mattress covers over the mattress. Cabin was clean.
Ship tip
Love the layout of Adventure. Going back on her for another b/2/b in April. Sure hope they do some updating by then.
Always love Labadee. It's getting more and more crowded but still love the beach there. The tide was in so it took most of the beach away when we got there but later on in the day it went out.
Love St. Thomas. The best beaches!!!! Unfortunetly our beach excursion got changed and we had to cancel. Spent the day shopping. Best place to buy jewelry!!!!
We took the ferry to the beach and got a lounge chair and umbrella. Big drop off going into the water. There was alot of debry in the water after the hurricane. Us and another couple pulled out pieces of metal that were sharp and twisted. Parts of lounge chairs, metal pipes, pieces of shingles. Mostly pieces of torn up metal that could do major damage if stepped on.
Had to wait for shuttle to take us to the parking garage. Adventure started using this terminal Oct. 20th when it returned. I hope it's not a permanent thing.
Ship did go through an extended drydock not too long ago added IZUMI, solo cabins, diamond lounge 1-2yrs. It will eventually go through the amplification refit after those that haven't.
Don’t be hard on the suite cruisers. We are diamond plus too but we don’t mind them getting special treatment. After all they pay double the price for the suite and they deserve extra treatment.
