Over all we had an excellent vacation. I think Royal Caribbean need to consider to increase the number of staff aboard. Also to do a makeover with the menues in main dining room and in the bars!

From the moment we stepped out of our taxi to when we stepped onto the ship it took no more than 20 minutes and that includes the pictures that were taken!

Main dining room was not what it used to be. Very repetetive menu that got quite boring after a couple of days. Windjammer had very good food. Izumi was excellent! Johnny Rocket was good and Giovanni's Table were excellent.

Pool area very crowded. Disappointed in the bar menues onboard.

Waiters in main dining room were very stressed. Some of the days we got our food long before our drinks. It's very obvious that there were a lot less staff. The staff were very nice and service minded and it's sad that there aren't enough of them. Our room steward were excellent! The bar staff were mixed. Some were excellent some were not particularly service minded.

It felt clean but the age of the ship starts to show.

We were very satisfied with our room. We were 3 adults in our room and it didn't feel crowded at all.

Make sure you book your specialty restaurants well in advanced!
We went to the Bacardi Distillery on a guided tour. Very interesting. Our tourguide Hector was excellent. We learnt so much thanks to him and he was really funny too!
We took an excursion to Magens Bay. Not very organized in port. The staff on the beach that rents the sunbeds were really unhelpful and not friendly at all. The beach was beautiful but not enough time to fully enjoy it. Not a very relaxing excursion. If I go again I would take a taxi there and back.
They are looking at the bottom line and as long as people travel on their line it will continue. The problem is the staff take the brunt of complaints.
Thank you for the the review. I felt almost the same with what you wrote while we were on Mariner of the Seas in September. The repetitive menu choices in the dining room were a disappointment. Stateroom was nice. Staff in dining room was helpful but service was VERY SLOW. We are going back to Princess for awhile.
