Overall another great cruise by Royal Caribbean, this was our 8th with them.
We wish the food was a little better overall, but still worth going. WE also wish there would be a little better security on the ship. We had children 8-12 years old running up and down the halls and on deck. It should not be something RCI should have to do but that is something the parents don't see or take care of. Years ago we saw a woman get toppled by a teenager for this and her hip got broken, this should not happen. The value of cruising is the best and Royal still is our favorite after 12 cruises. Embarkation
5 out of 5
WE were in the port at Pier 28 and on the ship within 15 minutes. The only thing we found odd was we didn't receive our Sea pass card until after boarding the ship, it was a few hours later.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Adventure of the Seas had Good food in the MDR and the Windjammer but in most cases was nothing special. The menu in the MDR does not seem to change as much as it used to. There were however a few nights where the selection and the food was better. WE did go to Giovanni's one night and the food was very good, excellent. Our service in ALL the eating areas was excellent we can't say enough about Kumar and Nicholas in the MDR and Bennie in Giovanni's, all were fabulous.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pool games and other activities were very good, but not as many choices as before. The Entertainment was good in most areas. The Lyric theater had some shows that ranged from good to very good all week. As for the Duck and Dog Pub Cat wells was only OK, I have seen much better. The Schooner bar had a piano player Keith who as excellent, a good musician who was also entertaining. The Ice show was also very good. The Trivia shows were only OK, in some cases there wasn't much interaction with the crowd, just give the question and move on to get to the answers. Other areas such as the Flowrider and Rock Climbing were good.

Service and Staff

As above much of the staff we interacted with were good to excellent. Our service at the MDR and other restaurants was very good.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
We have been on this ship 4 times now. The ship was in very good condition for its age. WE found the ship was cleaner than our stay at the hotel the night before.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin Steward Dewa was great, friendly and helpful. He kept our cabin clean and got us what we needed.
Ship tip
There is more space than you need. The Solarium area is small, they don't like people saving chairs so it can be tough to get a seat. One thing we didn't like were people going in there and sleeping for the day, theere were other areas wre the would be in the sun or shade and leave usable areas for others.
Fort Lauderdale, we always live this port.
Labadee Haiti, we have now been there twice and find it better each time we go. It has great beaches, there is plenty to do. A+
San Juan Puerto Rico, again we have been to San Juan many times. We find it safe and easily accessible, a great area to walk and see the sites. A+
Phillipsburg Saint Martin, again we have been there quite a few times and we always like it. This trip was a little different as they are still building back from there last few hurricanes. Port city is a bit ravaged but still good.

The Dragons Breath Zipline was fantastic this was our second time.

There is now a walkway from the port back to the backside of the El Moro Castle, great views and easy walk.

We have been to Basseterre a few time now and have enjoyed them all. We have been to the Fairview Great house, the Batik area and done the sites of Saint Kitts. This time around we did the ATV tour, our guides Kevin and Addison were excellent. The ride though the countryside was great and had some awesome views. The only drawback was the beach we ended at, we only had an hour and it was very rocky but it had cold beer and great views.
Thank you for the very informative review and the excellent pictures! Glad you had a great time and it was also good to hear that you had taken multiple cruises on Adventure of the Seas. We are taking our first cruise on AOS and Voyager Class next year after enjoying multiple Radiance, Freedom, and Oasis class cruises.
