Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Compared to recent Princess and Norwegian cruises, I would say that the food was not quite as good BUT do not let that comment put you off. It was still to a very good standard and I have no particular complaints and always had options that I enjoyed.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Well set up for families (naturally). My daughter is at that in between age and height for the kids slides and so was too big for one but not allowed on the other which was a shame because she would have loved to go on the pink slide.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Truly ok. Lots of singing / dancing shows but not the best I have seen on cruises. Couple of comedians were fine. Ice show good. Kinda felt it needed a little more creativity or variety for the headline shows.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Used it twice for 2 x 3hr sessions. Daughter enjoyed it. Well run and good staff.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Great staff overall. Friendliest I have seen on cruises. Room steward excellent. MDR staff fun too.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Clean and well maintained. Difficult to navigate from main theater to studio B (same deck) without having to go to another floor. Smaller bar designs and locations didnt really invite you in.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great base. Nice size. Very clean and well maintained. The best room steward (Jat).

Ports of call

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Chill out on the beach.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Easy to walk the 2 forts from the ship in 3-4 hours with some additional time for downtown shops.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Still suffering from hurricane damage on the island. Beaches were great.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Beautiful picturesque island. Do a private tour to a beach. Not too much in the port area. Was my favorite stop.
