It was nice to get away, but we would be reluctant to take a Royal Caribbean cruise again right away. Too many people for a ship that is ill-equipped in terms of the size to accommodate this many during the limited hours in the Windjammer (deck 11). We are accustomed to the buffet being open virtually all the time.

This was a quick and smooth embarkation.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We enjoyed the ship's main dining room and the quality of the food. The Windjammer buffet is quite another story. We were not accustomed to the limited hours, and the space was not designed to accommodate the number of people. The lines had no clear beginning and ending. People were cutting in line and eating as they were waiting in line. It was next to impossible to find a table. We ate here twice. The coffee everywhere except Starbucks left something to be desired. It got better the last two days of the cruise. We took advantage of room service the first day, and our food was fifteen minutes late. There is really nowhere in these rooms for a table. With limited room on the desk in the room, it just was not conducive to having room service, which was a disappointment. In addition, although there was no charge for the continental breakfast for room service, there was a $7.95 charge for a hot breakfast, a big deterrent also.
Onboard Activities

We especially liked the "Love and Marriage" game that was patterned after "The Newlywed Game."
Entertainment

The ship's musicians were quite talented. We also enjoyed the ice skating show as well as the stand-up comedian the last night and the show about hypnosis a night or so before that.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly.
Ship Quality

As far as the layout and design, we did not appreciate the open area of the atrium.
Unfortunately, some of the guests would leave their glasses inside the elevator and would leave trash on the stairwells.
Cabin / Stateroom

As stated earlier, it would have been desirable to have had a coffee table of some sort on which we could have placed our food if we had decided to take advantage of room service again.
The bathroom smelled of urine most of the time, which made me wonder if the floor had been mopped lately.
