Review summary

This was our fourth RCI cruise; we've cruised 12+ with other lines. The food is really not good. The dining room food was bland and seemed like the same entrees were offered throughout the cruise. The buffet was over-crowded and unappetizing. The specialty restaurants were only slightly more appealing. Overall, the dining areas seemed under-staffed. We enjoy having a nice dining experience when we cruise (quality vs quantity) but that didn't happen on this cruise. The ice skating show was fabulous and comedians in the theatre were really entertaining. Unfortunately, the regular Lyric theatre shows were a notch above a high school production. It'll probably be a while before we try RCI again.

I'm really sorry to hear this. We will be cruising on here in 7 weeks, it will be our 10th cruise, but our first on RC so I was hoping it would be good; I guess I'll just wait and see

That's disheartening, I've heard AOS is a wonderful ship.

we were on AOS last year. Same story....decided to go back to Carnival.

My wife and I are cruising on this ship with my parents at present ... service has been a coin flip from embarkation on as have the beds ... my wife buggered her back up so bad from the bed that she went for acupuncture at the spa . They ended up changing the mattress but it was for the bed I was sleeping on , so now I'm sleeping on the same mattress she was and my back is hooped . Its not even close to what I have been sleeping on the last few nights...

Just returned off Adventure of the seas, have to agree main dining room food, and choice, and service not to what we are used to on MSC, Ice skating Show very good, only reason we went RCI was for the itinerary, which was absolutely amazing. USA up to Canada.

I’m sorry to hear that. I cruised on that ship in 2009 and had an awesome time. Food, service and entertainment were excellent.

We went on adventure of the seas and it was hot or miss. The sea was really rocky which made for unpleasant evenings but our server in the dining room was phenomenal! We made sure to sit in his section every night and our room service attendant was THE BEST EVER! We had friends that were getting engaged and he made sure to put extra decorations in their room for that evening!

Sorry that you didn't enjoy your cruise, we just got off of the Anthem of the Seas and the shows were the best we've ever seen. That includes Carnival, Holland, Princess and a few of the Royal Caribbean ships.
