Review summary

Very nice ship, entertainment seemed geared for the 55 and over crowd, fog horn was annoying, food and service very good.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Be prepared for long lines at the terminal to drop bags curbside before parking your car. Could take over an hour but I guess better waiting in your car with radio and a/c than hours standing in lines inside the terminal. Once we parked the car, security and check in was a breeze!

Cabin / Stateroom

Would have given this 5 stars, but we were in the front of the ship and had fog two nights of the cruise. The fog horn went off every few minutes from 2 am through the early morning hours

Ship tip

When going on a Canada cruise dont have a room in the front of the ship.

There is a kids program. My kids were not interested in it. Spent only 1 hour in the kids club. Other kids seemed to enjoy. Didn't bother me that they did not want to go, since this was a family vacation and wanted to enjoy the together time. The entertainment referred to was regarding the nightly shows they were geared to the 50 and older crowd.

I'm surprised you said that there was no kids program. Usually, even if school is in session, there is some sort of program for the kids. Were there a lot of kids on the ship?

Slamming into another ship might be worse, huh?

This is one of my favorite RCI ship...not too big and nice amenities and customer service. Food quality and selection are good.

It might have been a LOT more annoying if the fog horn wasn’t used, right?
