Review summary

This was our 1st cruise with RC, and most likely our last. Other than the food, we didn’t feel like we truly got our money’s worth. We had a very large group and many of those in our group were disappointed in the lack of things to do. I’m hoping and praying our next group cruise goes with Carnival again.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
There wasn’t a true sail away party, just gather on the pool deck and watch us start moving.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The main dining and windjammer food was top notch and the main dining staff was fantastic! The drinks were just ok and the bartenders were not always fun to or engaging at all.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The gym amenities were very nice, we used the gym several times and it wasn’t too crowded. the rock wall was fun. The lines for the slides and flow rider were always longer and the hours they were open weren’t long enough.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
If I could rate the main dining staff separate, they would rate as excellent. Our room steward never introduced himself or spoke to us. He was barely seen all week. Other ship personnel was just ok.

You should try an Oasis class ship. I’m a personal cruise planner and would be happy to help with future bookings. Feel free to contact me cruisingwithchelsey@gmail.com.
