Review summary

I love cruising with Royal Caribbean, this ship was very nice, clean, organized, everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was amazing, views spectacular, and I will cruise with them again.

The downside was not so much with the ship itself but with the cruiseline itself. I think that the tipping should be part of the initial package price and not at the end or even adding it daily, take it upfront please. I also think that the basic drink package (27.00) should include the Starbucks package as some of us are not just soda drinkers.

Bottom line, we had a fantastic time.

The room was kept very clean. We had an issue with smelly pillows that was resolved on day 2. When I asked her to smell the pillows, she looked at me as though I had lost my mind. I hadn't , but it was disappointing that it took two days to resolve. The last two days of the trip, they slacked a little on the tidiness of the room.

Ship tip

Be prepared for rain. I would travel again with Royal Caribbean.

Which basic drink package? The soda package is just soda but the refreshment package includes coffee.

Yes we paid up front and of course if our state person and waiters are exceptional we give them a envelope with money in it.

You have the option of paying the gratuities up front. We are going in February and have paid all our gratuities already. Next time just ask about it.

My 1st cruise and it was GREAT!! I would definetely recommend Royal Carribean to anyone that has never been on a cruise. We were a group of 7 and we all enjoyed it. The cruise staff was very friendly and the food was great! Very organized.
