Review summary

Our room was old, dated, stained, and generally not what we expected when we booked with Royal Caribbean. The bed was hard as rock (some might enjoy this..). The staff was friendly and polite, but disorganized and the beverage package was a joke. We loved the ports and would highly recommend Antigua and St Lucia!

The cabin is in dire need of an update or refresh. From mold in the shower vent, discolored caulking, scratched / peeling fixtures, stained carpet, and 90's motel decor, it was an overall disappointment.

Ship tip

Make sure you get any drinks or ice cream you want from the machines in / near the Windjammer before 9pm ship time - because they CLOSE THEM DOWN!

Ugh :(. Thanks deboftheseas. We've sailed Oasis, Allure and Freedom. I'm beginning to regret booking on this ship based on what I've read so far about the cabins...

I believe everyone is referring to cabin conditions after refurbishment. The majority of the cabins were not updated and really need it badly.

To those talking about the cabins not being up to par, were your sailings prior to the refurbishment? I think refirb was completed last month (February).

our room Balcony 8576 was a disgrace, dirty, smelly and worn out carpet, bedding and curtains. public areas were okay. worst cabin we've ever had I know about the hurricane affecting the drydock plans, but they need to pull her out of service and finish the cabins

our bed was hard as well, but we told our room attendant and it was fixed before the second night. they have mattress pads. if you have any problems you actually have to talk to someone, they can not read your mind. I also got the beverage package and had no problems, I had a drink when I wanted one ( they use fountain pop, so I just ordered a can and mix). we had a great vacation, the food was wonderful (better than carnival). however carnival does have better entertainment.
