Review summary

Adventure of the Seas is a easy to walk cruise. The Promenade is the heart of the ship. My favorite part of the cruise was the Ultimate Ship Tour that get you to all that areas of the ship that can not be see (engine Control Room, Kitchen and Storage, Bridge, Laundry, Incinerator, recycling, etc.).  AOS is perfect for the fun loving. Cruise has all kind of activities: dancing, singing, shows, comedians, parades, etc. If you just want to be relaxed there are other activities like bingo, art auctioning, games (name that tune, guess...), Spa, taking a nap at the solarium, and much more. Reburbishing is not finish and the Chops and Grill is opening on March or April, but there is so much food at he Windjammer and the Dinning room that for me, there is no need to pay for meals. Ports of calls (St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Cruracao and Aruba) are nice for those who love swiming and snorkeling or hiking (beach is 3 minutes, woods 1/2 an hour and Rain Forest 1 1/2 hours from my home). That is why I book a general tour to sea the town when visiting Caribbean Islands. Our cabin was on Deck 9 and not refurbished. Cabin was nice and we enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. No problems with the bathroom. Our Room Attendant Kevin is a restless worker, always has a smile and our cabin was inmaculate!  Elmer, the waiter and Elena Waiter Assistant treated us like royalty. Sang at the Windjamer is always happy to help. The guys at the Promenade cafe are so nice!  After 7 cruises, I can tell Simona, the Cruise Director is the best! Adventure of the Seas still is my favorite Ship.

I have a lot of food allergies. At the Windjammer I can find a lot of food I can eat. At the Dining, Elmer, our waiter make sure my meal was not contaminated and was prepared with care.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
An easy to walk and explore ship. You never get lost here. Sparkling clean vessel. My only negative comment is the Casino: lots of smokers there! I only stay there 5 minutes and had an Asthma attack.

Cabin / Stateroom

Having a balcony is the best way to enjoy your breakfast and see the ship aproaching

Ship tip

The outside of the Cafe Promenade is the best place to enjoy the parades and shows at the Promenade. Bring your Hippie outfit, glasses and jewelry for the 70's show at the Promenade!'Wait until the last day to buy in the ship. Do the Ultimate Ship Tour.

Manuelakappen. I did know about partial ship tour, but when I was doing my check-in using the www.royalcaribbean.com I saw a list of tours and there it was. Tour capacity is 12 people. Is in English (I wish they do it in English and Spanish), so I have to translate everything to my husband. At each section I told the host that I need to translate, and they were good sport giving me time to do so.

Aleluya and Oda. I book it on the www.royalcaribbean.com, but you can book it on the ship. It was $89 per person. But it worth every penny.
