Review summary

One of my favorite parts of the cruise was the diversity of the passengers.

Since I'm a huge sports fan I enjoyed having a TV in my stateroom to watch any of the post season college football games of my choice without any distractions.

I also enjoyed visiting five different ports.

I enjoyed the size of the ship, it felt like a "hotel on water".

The ship staff were great, especially my stateroom attendant.

The Promenade Café was a hit with my wife and I.  We loved having the ability to have a snack pretty much any time of the day or night.

We also liked having soft serve ice cream anytime throughout the day or evening.

Several things need improvement.  The Windjammer restaurant needs to have a major overhaul of their menu.  There were "TOO" many days with the same food offerings. That was very disappointing.

The evening entertainment was very disappointing as well.  There needs to be more entertainment geared toward adults, more shows; comedy; musicals; etc.

It would be nice to have more shops to explore on board.

Since this was a "New Years" cruise, do not have the cruise celebration (almost immediately when passengers board the ship).  Plan better.

When we disembarked from the ship the luggage area was very confusing because not everything was marked to find our luggage.

Also, the taxi service was a disaster and very confusing once the cruise ended.  Please be more organized.  There was very little signage for taxi service. Have one designated area for taxi's that are taking passengers to hotels and another for those going to the airport.

The best part about my cabin was the service given to my wife and I by the state room attendant. We also enjoyed having a TV in our room to watch any number of different programs because the entertainment on the ship was awful.

Ship tip

It would be helpful to know Spanish.
