Review summary

The Adventure of the Seas ship definitely was tired and in need of updating. The service was excellent and the food was very good as well. However the evening entertainment was awful! They spent little to no money on entertainment and the onboard dancers/singers were terrible! The islands visited and excursions were great so that made up for what the ship lacked - but when we went to look at booking our next cruise we were shocked at how much the price had increased for the next year and how little onboard ship credit was being offered - no value perceived.

My wife and I had a great experience on the Adventure in OCTOBER '15.. so much so that we booked again for JANUARY '17.. can't wait

Going on Adventure in June also. We have been on all the voyager class ships some were just refurbished some needed to be we have always had a great time. Most people can over a little thing our bath room trash can would not stay on its hook. Who cares didn't stop us from having a great time.

My boyfriend spyros won the belly flop. Purchased the cruise video. It's nowhere on it. Anyone have any video from that day? I would love to have those moments saved.

I understand your feeling about hearing all the negative ...saving up ..working overtime to have great memories. I planned this cruise 1 yr ago with all my girlfriends not know about Adventure going into dry dock. We are leaving in 9 days, keeping my fingers crossed , can take alittle out dated decor but expect great service , food & entertainment. You could change ships .

I have never seen a cruise ship before and am going on a 7 day cruise ,on this Adventure of the Seas in June. Paying cash from working overtime to celebrate my 50th bday. It's rather hard to get really excited when all I read is how rundown it is. Least I know the ocean will be gorgeous!
