Review summary

This cruise wasn't as good as we had hoped. The boat looked nice, staff were more reserved than other cruises. The buffet in Windjammer  left alot to be desired, the food choices were the same everyday for breakfast and lunch. The dining room was excellent though. They don't utilize the pool tv screen that often, the few nights they offered pool movies it was fun. We booked this cruise since we had not been to Aruba and Curacao. Aruba was a disappointment, it was dirty and had many buildings that were fallen down. The only part that was cleanier was the hotel side, still not worth going to though.  Curacao on the other hand was gorgeous!!! We loved every minute of it from the old fort with the shopping inside to the Freeport side. Beautiful architecture, buildings well kept and the whole island was clean,  very friendly locals and great food. Also the shopping in town give better prices if you pay with cash.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Dining room was excellent, the Windjammer cafe doesn't offer alot of variety. The choices for breakfast and lunch are the same everyday.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Could offer more activities and utilize the pool screen more. Also would have liked more bands that played cuurent music.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
More bands needed, the ones they have play alot of jazz and classical music; they were good.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Optix club for our 17 year old kept her busy every night till 1-2am. Explorers club for our 10 year old was fun at night time till 10pm.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Kelfer our state room attendant. Also D'Silva and Fernandes dining room waiters. All were excellent.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ambience was excellent, the promenade was very pretty.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was even smaller than Carnivals, if thats even imaginable. We had our attendant bring in a cot and put it in between the 2 twin beds. It made it wall to wall beds, that way everyone was comfortable and didn't have to climb on top of the lowrt beds to get up.

Ship tip

The rooms overlooking the promenade are pretty
