Beautiful public areas, old and run down in some places, fun "Main Street" prommenade, lots of things to do at night, very friendly staff, kept very clean, too many people on days at sea.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Ordinary food, fish two nights cooked very dry. Desserts sounded delicious but were all terrible- dry cake, not delicious enough to bother eating. We loved Portofinos but it costs extra. Years ago all food on cruises was like that.

Entertainment

Saw all but a couple. Good quality entertainment. Really enjoyed the ice show.

Service and Staff

Became especially close to one waiter in lobby bar every eveing before dinner and always looked for him/

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom was very small, old TV, bathroom very small and little room to store anything. Too close to back of ship - felt a lot of movement.

Ports of call

Willemstad, Curacao

The kayaking excursion was very misrepresented. The scenery was nice but kayaks very uncomfortable and no rest at a beach as advertised. We were not allowed on the beach since it was owned by the Hyatt so had little time to relax

Roseau, Dominica

Very nice guide on the Island tour. Would not want to visit again- very little to do around the port and didn't even look safe to eat lunch locally.

Oranjestad, Aruba

The MiDashi Schooner excursion was a blast- lots of booze, fun staff, lots of snorkling. Island is beautiful and wished we had more time there.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Went on catamaran to St. John's - staff was a little aloof, not really fun but helpful. Not great snorkling. Didn't really see St. John.
Don't Miss: Taking the aerial tram up to the restaurant and seeing entire port from up there- great drinks too!!!

Pros: food in specialty restaurant Portofinos, adult only pool area, waiters in the Lobby Bar,

Cons: food choices in main dining room, wine steward in main dining room, desserts, crowded pool area, Windjammer Cafe, very small staterooms and bathrooms

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? No.
