Recession Takes a Toll on Royal Cruises

Sail Date: August 23, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This cruise was a disappointment. The ship is beautiful and definately huge, however, the food was not good most of the time and the cleanliness of the rooms was not good either. They never changed the sheets on the bed and use the same bedspread and throw pillows for every traveler week to week without washing them. The floor was stained and our room and floor had a terrible smell all the time which could have been coming from the service elevators.

Pros: The Nighlty Entertainment

Cons: The Food and Cleanliness of the Room

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? No.

Beautiful scenery to see but it helps to be in good shape to be able to get to them. A very poor island
