A Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: May 31, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

enjoyed this particular cruise with the two days at sea and just four ports-o-call. Loved the new dinning situaion where we could choose our time to dine each night. The best plan ever. Enjoyed Golf and Shuffle board on board. Food and food servers were great. Tyrone and Martin were very excellent. We were traveling with Vegatarian/Vegans. Since this seems to be the wave of the future amoung many, it would be great to have at each dinner a Vegan/Vegetarian meal. Although Tyrone made great and wonderfully appreciated efforts to keep our friends fed with good tasting foor, it would be so much better to have a dish each night on the menue that is gourmet. They ate alot of steamed vegetable which got old fast. The rooms are roomie and very nice. Ports of call were to short. Ship cleanliness was appreciated. Staff kind and gracious. Loved the pizza and sandwich place. Needed to have Vegan/Vegetarian sandwiches there. Roasted vegetable sandwich was great but had mayonaise. REally nice time. Once of the best cruises. Oh, like the adult pool area-no kids and no loud music.

Pros: DAys at sea

Cons: Can't think of any thing.

Recommends Adventure of the Seas? Yes!

Entertainment
Even early show was too racey for our taste.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom steward, Billy was very good.
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Food sometimes sounded and looked better then it tasted. There were some disappointing meals that taste like something you would fix at home. For the most part good though.
Oranjestad, Aruba

Don't Miss: Windsurfing and snorkeling
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Enjoyed trip to St John and beautiful beaches. Not enough time in port.
Don't Miss: Need to visit St. Thomas beaches next time.
Curacao
I believe this was the island with the Cave with the underground lake. Not a very big deal and wasted our time getting over there. Less time to enjoy beautiful beach with snorkeling.
Don't Miss: Can not remember the names of the lovely beaches we visited.
Roseau, Dominica
Great Scuba dive-did not go with ship tour. Whale watching tour this time of year hugh waste of time and money. Realy wish I would not have done that. Would be great when Sperm Whales are there birthing and mateing. Wrong time of year to run that cruise. It is a big area to try and view only three resident pods of whales.
Don't Miss: Scuba dive on "the wall"
