A: Surprised to find main smoking area was on port side of main deck (swimming area). Very poorly planned; not only was it on the main deck, it's under the walking/jogging deck, so smoke carries upward. Also, since smoking is allowed in casino, everyw... here we went on that end of the ship (each floor) ( photo area, lounges, theater area, etc.) smelled like smoke , but worse, as if there has never been any attempt to deodorize anything. Also, noticed people smoking on balconies, prohibited.See More

A: On Royal and the other mass market cruises, excursions are always extra from the cruise fare. Occasionally you might catch a booking promo that includes OBC credits towards excursions.

A: The only time you will find excursions, off ship cultural experiences or activities included with the fare are on River cruises, Expedition cruises, and on boutique Cruise lines. A: Onboard the ship all charges will be linked to your credit card so you do not need cash. However off the ship we like to use cash because credit card companies will charge you a fee for using a credit card in a foreign country.
