Open nearly all day and all night, the Windjammer offers great food, spectacular views, and an attentive wait-staff, all in a casual atmosphere. In the evenings, the caf''s casual atmosphere is complemented by a changing menu and restaurant-style service. Choose from a wide variety of foods including salads, soups, sandwiches and burgers, meat-carving and hot entrees, as well as cookies, cakes and pastries for desert.

We were thrilled to see they opened for dinner. Sometimes you eat lunch late and don't want a huge dinner. You could have a huge dinner with all the selections and changing themes each day. Loved the the omlet sstation gave you a blinker to let you know when it was ready to pick up during breakfast.

They had a varied selection so it was easy for everyone to find something. There is also gluten free options so that's good. The downside is the food wasn't always the freshest. The donuts were several days old when we started the cruise and I dont think they made any new ones. About half the time, the waffles and French toast was over cooked.

There was an awful odor as you come into the Windjammer numerous times. Some of the wait staff was irritable and rude several times when approached or something was requested. Some of the food was very over cooked; and appeared to have been sitting out past the time they should have been removed. We had gravy that tasted sour and spoiled!!

I did like the omelette station and I also felt they had more desserts and bakery then Disney offered. The options for meat and eggs were limited. Two different kinds of scrambled and a hard boil. Standard sausage and bacon. Although the buffet restaurants are basically the same size between Disney and Royal Caribbean, Disney has two long pathways with many options. Windjammers has one on the left followed by a second on the left and likewise for the right side the buffet but limited variety. So if you were smart you’d go toward the head of the ship and get the exact same breakfast as the people who are waiting in line at the entrance of the restaurant. I stayed for the crossover from breakfast to lunch. Hoping that I would find more to eat since I did not care for the breakfast, it was missing those special foods you would get to try on a Disney buffet. It iwas adequate but not anything you could mention to Family later and say “oh I want to go back to the Windjammer for blank blank blank at the buffet. It was a standard mass produced buffet. I love Disney’s strawberry soup.
