it was nice but we expected more from the solstice, better food, better menus and a much better buffet. we had defrosted cold cuts and cakes.

Excellent cruise, nice size of ship by goraro

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Maasdam / Destination: South Pacific

Great cruise, one of the most relaxing cruises we have done, no big cities, nice pacific islands and not a flurry of activities on board

Wonderfull New Zealand Cruise. by Mare43

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

Very well planned route from Sydney around New Zealand. Sydney was a very positive start as itself. All onshore activities were well organized and interesting - ”the main purpose” of the trip. A ” once in lifetime” experience alltogether.

Memorable Cruise (51-Night Australia Circumnavigation) by whitelawcs

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Maasdam / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This was an interesting cruise--one that I had wanted for several years. I learned a lot about Australia and New Zealand and New Caledonia that we don't hear much about in the United States. Although our captain had to make decisions about health care and windy conditions, the alternatives were just fine. The ship conditions (food) were good.

just OK, little things matter by bb22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: South Pacific

Hi trip was OK, but a lot of little issues stopped us from putting deposit on future cruise – It started at beginning – not given cabin number till couple days of sailing, then week later in Vancouver having to move a few cabins up the hall?Re cabin my wife and I hit head or shoulder on bed hanging on wall a few times. Accepted captain’s invite to cocktail party, asked a few passing waiters for a drink(our first) none returned- a message of this was put in captain’s dropbox, we never got a reply, we didn’t bother going to the next FREE cocktail party. At Victoria port we were told about the beautiful gardens – hard to see when you arrive at 7pm. , for other ports the imfo sheet listed many sites, but most were outside the map supplied? We privately booked a -Hop on Hop off at Honolulu, found our way to town and collected tickets( where told because Princess didn’t get enough booking, Hop onHop off, wont invited to the port.)It’s the little thing you remember. Cheers Robert (Bob) Randle.

Beautiful Ship, great food and staff but I feel it was geared towards older passengers. by NannyMaz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Majestic Princess / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

We had done these Ports before but had not been on this Ship before. We did enjoy the Cruise, however I would probably choose a different ship next time with more on board activities and maybe a younger demographic. My husband and I are in our early 50's and we had our 24 year old daughter with us.

Australian Cruise by klylyn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

I am 42 and was in the younger age category. The majority was 60 and way over. Also, a lot of ports say they have wi-fi but it is all password protected so it's hard to connect.

Bucket-list cruise - fantastic by kpeiffer123

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Wind Spirit / Destination: South Pacific - Tahiti

This cruise is for adventure seekers who want to experience gorgeous water. It is not for shopping and restaurants/bars. You must have an adventurers heart and be physically fit. The hikes are demanding and most of the tours are water sports like snorkel, scuba and swimming. The ship as 56 stairs from the bottom deck to the top with no elevators at all. It is an amazing experience and you go for the gorgeous vistas and unbelievably clear waters.

We had a group of 10 taking 4 rooms. 2 adults, 3 young men aged 18, 3 girls of 17yrs, a 12yr old boy and a 7yr old boy. We all had a fantastic time. We were all first time cruisers and cannot wait to do our next one!

sea princess 4 day cruise by mcewan1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Sea Princess / Destination: Australasia

Found music & entertainment aimed at older people , line dancing , bingo , type of music (violins , ukulele ) ( not much popular current music ) The DJ called us boring because we didn't get up to line dance !! We prefer rockier/current music , even though we are 50.

2nd time as good as the 1st!!! by Havingfunyet

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Golden Princess / Destination: Australasia

My 2nd time on this beautiful, happy ship and I would go on it again-love it and cannot fault it in any way shape or form highly reccommend it-My 1st experience was in a mini suite and this time in an inside cabin and it was as good except for the balcony and extra room but you are not in the cabin alot so unless it's for a special occasion I would do an inside cabin again. Loved the experince even though it was only 3 days from Melbourne to Sydney and my 1st one was Melbourne to Tassy and back for 6 days-go on this ship you will have no regrets and this is my 6th cruise and it is still my favourite one!!!
