South Pacific Cruise Reviews

Everyone was wonderful. The cruise director spoke English without a thick British accent, Les Gauguines were very friendly and helpful. The service provided by everyone (room stewards, waiters, maitre'd, tender operators, staff) was excellent. Enjoyed the gourmet dining, everything was very close and liked having the snorkel equipment to use the entire cruise.

We found the cruise itinerary was very good in itself though, as always, more time in ports would be good. All of the ports had something to offer in scenery or activities and the local folks were very helpful and warm. The cruise gave us the overview we wanted to decide if we wanted to take later vacations in Aust/NZ. We'd recommend the cruise and land touring.

The ship was fine and the stateroom spacious would always recommend a balcony on a trip such as this one

The ship rooms are not what we have been use to and the baths are to small.

The ship is much smaller than the ones we are used to sailing on to the Caribbean. But the staff is very friendly and there's more than enough staff to accomodate all the passengers. The ship could use a little updating on the accomodations.

Had a good time. Ship was small but that meant fewer passengers. 5days at sea is a lot on a small ship. Bora Bora was not good.

The ship was very clean and the crew works hard to keep it that way. The service was mostly very good. The ship's size was perfect,never felt too crowded and got to do the things I wanted most to do for the most part.

We loved the new boat and surfing, ice, rock wall etc. The con (but I'm sure this is the same on all ships) is the sex and skin in their shows. Their main feature show was considered a family show and was filled with humping and pelvic thrusts etc. We waited in line an hour...were in the 5th row--middle and stood up and walked out after the first 10 minutes.

Very well laid out and easy to maneuver around. The crew and staff were very friendly, helpfull and attentive.

The Voendam was refurbished less than a year ago and an excellent job was done. All areas have an exciting vibrant appearance

The ship was very pretty and had lots of things to do or not do.

It could use some updating...the theater looked dated!

Bathrooms not kept clean. Food was not as good as other ships I have been on. Entertainment by the staff in the main lounge was good but the other lounges was not good at all.

Nice amenities. Children facility was nice and clean. Variety of reasonable priced restuarants (Rita's and Izuma) was great change of pace for us.

The ship was old and not enough choices for dining,only one specialty restaurant. Had to wait for seating at the Italian Restaurant several times.

Perfect ship and staff for this trip. Especially enjoied the music in the center that floated up into public areas. The beautifully preparred food. Great quality entertainment. Everything was first class..

French Polynesia and Cook Island itinerary was excellent. Service was professional; room service w/in 10 min. Wines were high quality. Rich french food at dinner got overwhelming for 11 days. Ate frequently at the Asian influenced Grill to lighten up. Rooms were comfortable. Staff curt in the French boutique restaurant. Evening entertainment below par; dated and often amateurish. Travel desk not open @ independent touring outside of excursions, although excursions were high quality and fairly priced. Did the pre sail tour to Moorea and it was spectacular.A great way to tour the islands.

Very friendly crew and staff. Good food and entertainment facilities.
