Hawaii/Polynesian 10/24 Cruise by vinfabrico

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Norwegian Sun

Staff is very nice but dealing with a company that is making too many cuts to food, entertainment and charging more for it.

Never again Worst experience in 25 years by cruisingsoeasy

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Norwegian Sun

The itinerary was great, exceptional. But the Norwegian Sun was a very bad experience. The specialty restos were good. All the activities were poorly organised, had to wait for very long in the stairs to get to the tenders. Crowd management, and security, were deficient. Never seen this before. I do not recommend

Trip of a Lifetime! by melisa44642499

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Crown Princess

We have cruised 17 times on various ships and the Crown Princess was without a doubt the best crew we have ever had! The cabin steward was exceptional and the bar staff at the Adagio bar was simply the best. We could highly recommend this trip...the 31 days flew by and we were never bored or without something to do. The Crown Grill was the highlight in regard to the food venues.

Terrible and boring by ncgc24

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Splendor

Well below average. The choices of food are very limited and food quality is below average and food is way too salty. Activities and entertainment are well below average.

South Pacific Expedition Cruise by chris10016

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Seabourn Pursuit

Mostly primitive islands. Would have liked a bit more snorkeling. Don’t think they should charge for kayaking on expedition cruise.

Loved the ports, disappointed in RCCL by Grammy2000

Loved this cruise. If we didn't have to fly so far, this would definitely be on our agenda again.

Will never sail Solstice again. Ship is old; needs remodeling. Something wrong with most of the crew.

Generally enjoyable trip by Flydrive

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Solstice

Was solid, fine cruise. Would not say wow, but generally good. We missed two stops due to weather and a medical emergency, which was unfortunate and could have been communicated better. LGBT drinks were held in undesirable locations and unadvertised after the third day. Service had its ups and downs.

Positive and negative by krki

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Noordam

The main negative is we bought the Have Iit All Package and their WIFI is AWFUL!!!! You can not send or receive texts. You are logged out constantly and have to reboot your phone to sign in again. We sailed on Princess a month earlier and bought the same package and their WIFI works perfectly and you can send and receive texts. They also do not have laundry rooms and charge $25 for a very small bag of laundry.

Epic by Actjax

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Grand Princess

This is a rare Sydney to San Fran cruise, it is a 25 year old ship, Pacific can be rough, 70% Sea days,, entertainment is limited, if you can come to terms with this, the cruise will be fun….staff was wonderful and made up for other shortcomings….

Nice, but not stellar.... by Bruin76

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta

The itinerary was very good and largely to islands we had never been to. The weather was a major factor, whether it was rainy or just hot, this made a difference in our comfort levels for all of the excursions. Like any long trip, there were good excursions, and some lesser ones. My disappointment was generally in where the ship parked everyday. The port areas tended not to be pretty or tourist inviting for nice walks. These were not the pictures that one sees in commercials about these islands. When we took bus tours to other parts of the islands, we were able to see the beauty. That being said, if one books a tour like this, one should plan to take an excursion every day.

Nice itinerary, crew and food by bargmannj

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Nautica

This was a very nice itinerary. Those looking for an opportunity to see New Zealand got a taste of 5 very nice ports. The French Polynesian ports are nice, but I had seen them before and chose to save my excursion money for the ports I hadn't visited. It was unfortunate that we missed some ports and we had very rough seas for three days and rough seas for two. The captain did everything in his power to navigate around it, but activities had to be cancelled or postponed due to the rough seas.

Lots of days at sea by Bumpermn

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Koningsdam

Two weeks too long…Floating nursing home with old passengers and many illnesses! Had to turn around for sick passenger and missed one port as a result. Fire in gally one night. Excursions were below average in Pearl Harbor and Tahiti. Crew and food excellent and many activities, but designed for elderly population!

Rainy with too many people by ragesin2003

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess

This is a moderately priced cruise which means a lot of people at certain times. Best to eat at other than prime time for better service but it may mean you may have to adjust when you go to the shows, etc. With the right expectations it can still be enjoyable.
