Review summary

Two weeks too long…Floating nursing home with old passengers and many illnesses! Had to turn around for sick passenger and missed one port as a result. Fire in gally one night. Excursions were below average in Pearl Harbor and Tahiti. Crew and food excellent and many activities, but designed for elderly population!

Perhaps the Carnival ships would be a better option for you. Holland America does tend to have an older crowd and therefore activities are geared more for refined tastes and cultural experiences. Always good to do a little research beforehand.

I have friends that just got off that same cruise & they loved it. They are early 60’s & played pickleball everyday. They did say there were a lot of sea days, but they kept busy. Hope your next cruise is better.🛳️😎
