Cruise was okay for a first cruise, the price was affordable. The service was not the best, restaurant and dining times were scattered and not predictable.

Good value cruise. Our whole intention was to do some shopping away from home and we did just that. Very fun time with just a few disappointments.

We live 10 miles from the Long Beach port. It is an easy cruise for us to take. The cruise met all of our expectations. Keep in mind this is not a high end luxury cruise, but more of a fun cruise. It was an enjoyable getaway. We are sure to do it again.

We consider this 4 day the cruise we do to tie us over until our real cruise which is an 8 day. This is a good interim or starter cruise because you get just a taste of what cruising is like. If I couldn’t drive to this port and I had to fly to it, I would have been seriously disappointed.

Royal Princess has best food and service ,we enjoyed great food from buffet and main dinner room . We took 9 cruises now. Royal Princess is number 1, we will come back again.

My wife and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. I called ahead and asked the staff to make sure and recognize our anniversary, they never did. I was disappointed that there was nothing done to bring attention to it.

Enjoyed our selves and made new friends. Main courses in dining room not so great. Loved the appetizers though.

We've been on lots of cruise lines, and all of them are good, But Carnival has a way of bringing energy and fun to every sailing. If you live in the west coast area, its the best value getaway. Lots of relaxing mixed with fun and food!

Carnival is a good deal for the price. The ship employees are always nice, fun and interactive. Cruising in general is a great way to vacation and relax. But don’t expect a “wow” factor at all. And if they can over charge you for something on the ship, they will. Be prepared to pay for “extras” on the ship.

Cruise was good until there was a medical emergency that my wife and I assisted with, carnival let a man die and they treated us like garbage after the incident

Good but I probably would go on carnival again as the entertainment was not good. I like the musicals and circ de soleil. The "musicals" here weren't good. Food was good but needs more consistency in menu in find dining. Ship was overall good but I get great experience from other ships

The employees were very respectful and courteous. Hard working. Great experience for a first cruise. Very organized with disembarking ship.

As being our first cruise, we were a little concerned of how our experience would be. Carnival Tours made every effort to ensure our tour was very enjoyable and safe. We were impressed be the safety instructions we received, and how well trained all the staff were. Thanks for making our trip such a success.

Everything was amazing besides being charged more in my card then what I was showing on the app. Also hidden fees we didn’t know about kinda upset about that

Cruise and ports were great. Was a little disappointed there was not very many seafood options for dinner. Also had to wait 10 min for the 24-hr pizza.

I was taking my boyfriend on his first cruise and we had a blast

Excellent cruise, ship is big, room is on the small side but the bathroom size makes up for that. The pianist and singer Arvin at the main lounge was amazing and was the highlight of our cruise.

After doing six cruises with NCL, I was bored on this ship especially because NCL does a great job for solo travelers and Holland America does virtually nothing.
