Relaxing & fun birthday getaway by lilagem

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

It was wonderful from start to finish! Dancing at the club every night is always my favorite activity, even though not many people actually get out on the dance floor. The silent dance party was super fun & got the most people out on the floor! The ship was the smallest I’ve been on but it was so empty there was no wait for anything. It was an all around great time!

It was a great first time cruise experience. Will definitely come again because of how amazing everyone was and how amazingly they treated us. Everything was done on time and no one had a bad attitude.

Nice Vacay by axa116

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Radiance / Destination: Mexico

Carnival really treats guests well. Food was delicious, staff was very attentive & on-board activities were a lot of fun. We especially loved how empty the ship was (due to COVID concerns)- hot tubs & pools weren't crowded & dining was fast & easy. But on the other hand, there weren't any shows during this trip- which we understood because of COVID concerns & staffing. We still had a fantastic time & would love to take another Carnival Cruise in the future!

Wonderful trip with 1/3 of the normal capacity. Masks were required, but did not interfere. by stephenmeeks

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Ruby Princess / Destination: Mexico

The entire experience from booking to disembarkation was a great and easy experience. We flew into SFO from ATL and stayed in a RIU hotel at Fisherman’s Wharf. The next morning we arrived at 11:30am and we’re moved into a short line for boarding. Easy and uncomplicated and we carried our own bags onboard with only a little extra effort. We were allowed to go straight to our cabin and then went right to lunch n the Lido deck one floor up. The weather was cool and a little breezy, but there were few heavy seas to contend. The main problem I have and will always have had with Cruising is the in capability of the ship’s crew to be allowed to keep the exterior windows clear and clean. The teapot of the cruise was wonderful. Three meals a day prepared to our delight as close to meeting or exceeding our expectations as possible. The staff went out of their way to please everyone and make sure every person had their need and wants fulfilled. The ship normally boards about 3500 passengers, “ The Ruby Princess has a maximum passenger capacity of 3,782 and 1,200 crew members.” all 1200 crew members were still onboard and were serving only 1100 passengers because of Covid-19 restrictions. We were well cared for. Overall it was a wonderful cruise.

Great Trip want to do it again. by lmalukas

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Loved this cruise. The staff was polite and attentive and food was very good. WE did not get around to sample the pizza or the BBQ areas. So nice sitting in our balcony just viewing the water as we were passing by. We did see whales and proposes after leaving Cabo San Lucas. Very relaxing. Will do this cruise again real soon.

Royal Caribbean was great, but was an awful experience! by jwfinn01

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

The cruise was great, but had problems getting on the ship. had canceled the trip even after the cruise was paid in full! Had to spend 3 hours waiting on hold with and Royal Caribbean to get cleared up. My wife was so upset and got physically ill from the experience she didn't get to enjoy herself to the next day.

I wish I could have kept my photos. They have the watermark so I don't understand why I couldn't keep them.

This was actually a great cruise without any Covid scares or any other issues pertaining to the disease. It was good to just get away and relax.

Average cruise and enjoyable by pennysmith1947

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Majestic Princess / Destination: Mexico

Average, but good cruise. We went knowing we would be nickled and dimed. The ship was about a quarter full, so that was nice as no real crowds until disembarkation.

Enjoyable Mexican ports by jingram23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

The Internet service, Voom, is poor. With all the Covid-19 protocols in place, we felt safer on the ship than in public back home.

Great all inclusive get away. by jpthunderbolt38

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Overall we had a great time and it was a good reprieve from winter. If we had time we be going again very soon! Cruises are the best way to vacation and truly provide a great way to just relax since everything you need is included with plenty of extras if you just have money you're itching to spend.

Extremely fun, fantastic service all around including during dinner. Food was the best I've ever had and the ship was immaculate. Bit boring events but I suppose thats expected from a older crowd. by Mark1923u43827

Booking errors were a nightmare but onboard staff were great by janellane889

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Panorama / Destination: Mexico

Booking process had so many errors that one of our rooms were canceled even after full payment was received, wasn't notified of error and only noticed a refund on bank account. Call wait times exceeded an hour plus to get resolved. Was promised on board credit and was not honored when on ship. Cruise itself was fun but not better than Princess or Royal.

Practice cruise by jingram23

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

Washy washy satire songs like I Want to Wash your Hands and Wash Me Baby One More Time are hysterical. NFL playoff games are not shown on the large screen so I had to watch from my balcony overlooking a Carnival ship.docked next to us. That must be a more Fun Ship.

Empty ship, but phenomenal guest service! by jrdainty

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Navigator of the Seas / Destination: Mexico

For the price, it was a great getaway. The ship is amazing. The crew is amazing. Catalina Island was nice, Ensenada left us wanting more. The weather was cool, so we didn’t get to utilize the surf machine, pools and slides…but still had a really nice time. Food was middle of the road.
