Disappointing Cruise by chelseystultz

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Radiance

We will not cruise Carnival again based on poor service, food, and overall lackluster feel. Our kids had a blast at the Ocean Club, hot tubs, and frequent visits for icecream and Big Chicken but as a discerning adult there is A LOT to be desired.

A Great week Getaway by Mark028

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Navigator of the Seas

Knowing what the cruise will be ..setting the right expectations will make your cruise amazing! I wasn't looking to see exotic sights, just to do an onboard getaway!

Short but sweet by idahomaureen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas

We went during spring break, so it was 25% kids onboard. That makes for a different experience!

It was fun. by marygracevinson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Navigator of the Seas

I enjoyed the cruise, but our room wasn't cleaned until the evening. Having a clean room after we return from a tour would be nice. Also, I went on to cruise to celebrate my graduation, but nobody recognized it. Even I saw the note when we checked in for our dinner. Overall, I would still come back.

The overall experience was okay, I think the rocking of the ship was overwhelming for me.

A Holiday Inn at Sea by ya4davecox

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Norwegian Bliss

We were very excited to be on a new super ship, and chose a balcony upgrade, and the premium package. We were still constantly pestered to pay extra for things, and to tip at every turn. It was very disturbing. The room is incredibly small, with no drawers. Be prepared to live out of your suitcase. The beds are roll away cot quality, and you’re not going to sleep well. Most people spend most of their time ashore or enjoying the ship, so this may not matter to you. The ship itself is super loud, over crowded, understaffed, and every show and specialty restaurant will likely sell out before you get on the ship. Be sure to do as much and arrange as you can online before you start. The art and some of the food is very impressive. Most staff was efficient and friendly. The ships tech is decent. But, given a choice, I would not return to the Bliss.

Good enjoyable cruise. Ship is geared for adults with no kids. Compared to other cruise ships, there are no kid based attractions.

Princess Mexican Riviera by ajcosta11

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess

I would recommend this cruise to adults, but not during Spring Break. There were TOO MANY children running around, children took over the pools and made getting ice cream and drinks difficult ( long lines).

Cruise Ports are Wonderful by susanjfrench

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Discovery Princess

The ship is beautiful. Staff relies on the app to order items for you. Very slow for them too. Love the medallion and auto opening door. App not very user friendly. The Entertainment was excellent. Lots of game shows & fun. Need more activities for children. Older ones bored. Littles running all over ship bumping into people and in adult venues after 10 pm.

Great staff and ship by qeskimo59

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess

Discovery Princess is a great ship. Staff are incredibly kind, friendly and helpful Itinerary not great - if not Monterey then should have a better alternative Post cruise billing is a nightmare - Due to difficulty getting my questions answered regarding billing, I may never sail on Princess again.

Fun Can Be Fleeting by SB962

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Panorama

Overall, we both enjoyed our cruise a lot! It was great to enjoy the sun and feel like we were free from the pandemic. Until, we got the stomach flu on day 5 and when we got home we both discovered that we had Covid even though we are fully vaccinated. So now we are self quarantining and watching TV for the next week. A word to the wise; wear a mask when you are not in your room. It is so tempting to not wear one but so not worth it!

Awesome cabin and beautiful ship - but a few disappointments by NVtravelers

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess

Decent cruise for the money but would choose a different cruise line the next time. Great cabin and cabin attendant. Main dining was a total disappointment. Many crew members seemed to be unhappy or very tired. Ship's common areas were all too crowded or too small for the activities planned in them for the exception of the Princess Theater.

Mexican Riviera met all expectations by taunton1953

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Discovery Princess

Highlight was seeing whales close up on snorkel excursion at Cabo San Lucas. Disappointed with excursion in Matalan where the exotic birds mostly flown north. We see more birds in Florida.
