Appreciate your details. As already mentioned, it’s in your cruise contract that your itinerary may be changed at no refund. Sorry you were disappointed.

I'm going to guess this was your first experience cruising, due to the low scores you gave for things that are common, and available with a little research. 1. No cruise ship allows check in times before 10am. They have to get everyone off the ship from the previous sailing before they can let anyone board. That process takes hours. 2. No cruise line will give a refund or partial refund for missing a port stop. Port stops are never guaranteed; it even says so in your Contract of Carriage. 3. I understand your disappointment in missing Catalina. It is a lovely little island. That said, if visiting Catalina was the most important goal of your vacation, you could have just booked passage on the Catalina Express ferry out of Long Beach, for a guaranteed visit.

You should have got your port fees back. I have only had one cruise skip a port due to weather and my port fees and excursion fees was credited to my account
