Poor service experience!!!! by jaqt2

they just need to warn people of what to expect, what are you buying and whats there still for sell inside the boat. Don't get me wrong but just they need to be more consensus of tell the truth. Tickets are not cheap at all and you expect a good experience.

I would have been better off at home sitting on my deck instead of sitting in our cabin with nothing to do on deck except get knocked over bycrude guests

3 day cruise by dragonlady72

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

I think my expectations for my first cruise was high. I was disappointed that I didn't dance the night away. The music in the club was for a younger crowd. The live band was great though. I'm going on a second cruise and I know now what to expect.

Memorable Fun Times by jupr2212

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends

All and all, the experience was fun. Looking forward to cruise to different ports in Mexico. Would have enjoyed the Lido Buffet for Lunch and Dinner if the food were better in taste and flavor.

Meh by AndiLea

My 7th cruise, and 3rd time on this exact ship coincidentally. I love Carnival but this particular cruise fell flat. Skip it. A lot of hurry up and wait. Ensenada isn't much to look at, the crew didn't seem happy to be there, the food was just okay, the ship seemed to be a little worse for wear. Pick a different cruise, pick a longer cruise.

The Perfect Family Vacation by TBentz

This is a great cruise if you are first time cruiser or want to take your family on a cruise. The ports are small but you can find fun things to do there.

Perfect getaway with the family! by letjacq

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

A much smaller ship from our last cruise, but it didn't disappoint. We did miss the specialty restaurants, as we wanted a nicer more private steak/seafood dinner to celebrate a birthday.

FIST TIME CRUISERS by vrodriguez5

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

Very nice time , did not like the fact that it took so long to get to Catalina Island - it was rather silly!!! also, like stated above an adult pool would had been so nice to enjoy. LOVED LOVED the service- the workers are great people who go beyond the call of duty.

Wonderful Mexican Riviera Cruse by edmatthewsrsm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

Enjoyed this cruise and will be considering taking future cruises to other areas. This provided a way to have a room and all food plus opportunity to visit different cities. We meet individuals who have taken many cruises and they shared their experiences (all positive). We are planning to take future cruises to visit other areas.

Last Carnival Cruise by allanwood10

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

We have been on 10 cruises of which 3 were Carnival and this was the worst ship of them all. Very disappointed that Carnival has reduced the cabin cleaning to one a day - no evening turndown - very sad. Production shows just had "canned music". Watching someone pretending to play a piano is not a talent. Obviously Carnival is in a race to the bottom of the cruise industry - and they're winning!

So disappointed... by bela818

If you have been on other cruises, lower your expectations before you take this trip. It's a short one so it can be tolerable but I wouldn't recommend it.

3-Day Cruise from Long Beach to Ensenada, Mexico, June 29th - July 2nd by rdodson

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

My family and I really enjoyed the cruise!  Cruise Director Alex was THE BEST!!!  he made the pre-show entertainment and Bon Voyage party so much fun!  The ship was lovely, the staff was GREAT and I have nothing but praise for everyone who made our cruise enjoyable.  Seas were a little rough on the last full day, but that is to be expected.  I'll be better prepared with Dramamine next time!!!  All in all, it was a lovely cruise and I wouldn't hesitate to go again.  Ensenada was a lovely port.  My husband and I traveled to La Bufadora and enjoyed the lovely scenery.  I ate the best soft shelled taco of my life at Lidia's!!!  Our kids did the zipline at Las Canadas Park and thoroughly enjoyed it!  Next time, my husband and I will do the wine country tour!

Had an amazing mini vacation by veronicamartine

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

My boyfriend & I had the best time. So much to do on the cruise. The only reasons why I didn't give a 5 star is because quite a few of the bartenders had attitude when we asked a question. Also because I think dinner in the buffet could had been seasoned better. Besides that the experience was amazing, we got to snorkel at Catalina island, seen dolphins off of the ship,  & also got to see la buffadora in Ensenada! All of it wa beautiful!

My experience of the cruise by Eternal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Carnival Imagination / Destination: Mexico

The service and food are excellent. The hostess, Victoria and stateroom steward

are very friendly. I notice there are quite a number of seniors and retirees, but the music is solely designed for the young, the hip-hop music. I wish to see those soft music and dance as portrayed in the movie "an affair to remember" by Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr.

Also, the casino has only machines with high payouts like $5,000 or $4,000. You should put in more slot machines but low payouts like $1,000 but more frequent. That will make the players more happy, even to the point if the cruise line has to loose some money in this entertainment to delight the passengers.

Fun Cruise despite problems by sdsusie60

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Miracle / Destination: Mexico

My favorite part of the cruise was dinner each night at the Baccus Diningroom.  The service was wonderful & some of the food was really good.  We did encounter some problems on the cruise:  The Miracle ship must be very old because there was a strange vibration going on, in several areas. It was especially bad while trying to sleep. Ive been on other Carnival cruises and this never happened before.

The Faster to the Fun pkg was not worth the money at all. I purchased it for all 3 cabins that our family had. It wasnt needed for embarkation - wasnt crowded. Debarkation was awful because we were in a very slow line getting off the ship. The other perks we were supposed to get, didnt happen at all. Private phone # for

assistance from cabin, priority in dining room and........our luggage did not get to our cabins for several hours. Not happy about that. For suggestions, I think the room service menu should have more choices and in between meals there should be more than pizza and ice cream. Our family had a great time anyway, enjoying eachothers company. I will not sail on the Carnival Miracle again.

Carnival Cruise by rpmfavor

The cruise can be shorten to one day up and one day back. the extra day floating in the water seemed like a waste.

Joyce was real helpful as the host at the Pride Dining hall. Always smiling and kind.

Thank you Joyce.

worst cruise I've ever been on by caitlynfoil

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

I've been on several cruises including Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Carnival and this is so far the worst cruise I've been on considering its food and service.  The selection and quality for its main dining room dinners were poor and the taste of food is very mediocre.  I ordered sea bass one night and it tasted so bad I couldn't eat another bite.  On most of the other cruises I've been on, the servers in the main dining room are very friendly, respectful and pleasant.  On this cruise, we got different servers every night and when I asked them for something extra like a spoon, or water, they do not respond when you talk to them even though they heard you.  I understand that they are usually very busy but a simple "ok" would have suffice so that I don't feel like I was bugging them.  The stewart of the room was ok.  He was polite and helpful.  The kids club were ok but at one point at 3pm in the afternoon they had to tell everybody to leave the room so that they can clean up.  The decor of the interior of the boat is old and tacky.  I would not recommend this cruise.

Rooms for improvement by AnthonyYung

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Carnival Inspiration / Destination: Mexico

This is the 3rd time we are on Carnival of the same route.

It has a happy and young atmoshpere.

Food is too salty.

Asia food was cooked terrible!

We paid for 3 female and male in this room but you did not give us 3 beds in the room!

The room was also very small and made it not possible to arrange beds in 3 separate ones.
