Great Vacation, The crew did all they could to make it a great time. Even though the weather kept us from going to Maui the crew made change to the activities. The only thing I would like to see changed is the price on the drink package, I think $99.00 + 20% per day is to much.

We had a wonderful time and felt well at ease to do anything we wonted. Your crew is well trained and very interactive.

crew, staff & navigation crew all above the norm. Hats off to Captain Eric for keeping us safe with 50 mph wind gusts and 20 foot waves!!!

Disappointed to not be able to see more ports. Also, purchased tickets with during promotion to have the tips and gratuities included for which I am still trying to get credit.

A total waste of time and money. The entire purpose of the trip was so my companion could see 5 different ports in Hawaii, since she had never been to the islands. The 17 day cruise was suppose to stop at 5 different ports. Due to weather, we could only stop at 2 and the weather wasn't the best on those days. We were only able to lay in the sun on deck one day. Thank god we got out early between 1000-1200, because by 1500 it was cloudy, windy, and raining. I realize the weather is unpredictable, however the promised itinerary wasn't remotely fulfilled. Holland America only offered $100 per person credit off of "certain purchases" on ship and a 15% discount for a future cruise purchase. We did not purchase the internet package, however we heard people complaining profusely over the terrible connection and the cost of the package. One person said she had to upgrade to the daily rate of $29.95 in order to check her email. The is the premium service which should also include streaming.

The ship was very nice. The crew was very nice and service was very good. The determining factor on this cruise was the weather; it started off bad and stayed bad. We had only 3 1/2 days of sunshine on the entire 17 day cruise. Don't do this cruise if you want to guarantee that you will see the Hawaii that you paid to see. Don't do this cruise if you don't care for at-sea days. If you are a young person, don't do this cruise as it is tailored to senior citizens. One item of note, we did get an on-board credit of $100 per person and a 15% credit of our base cruise price to be used towards a future cruise in 2019/2020. We also were credited for the missed excursions and ports but have not seen this credit show up on our charge yet and have not yet heard back from Holland America after an inquiry as to when this will happen.

Sharman through price line is an angle she works hard to help me. Not holland was average age of 69 plus many walkers and wheel chairs. Very hard to deal with guest service with issue I did not feel if holland cared about my vacation what so ever

My wife and I would not go on Princess Emerald again. It was geared to an older demographic in my opinion. If I am going to spend money on a cruise I want a new, ultra large ship with lots of activities to do and Internet thats decent when I am bored in my cabin.

A must do cruise! You need to do this while you can physically climb Diamond Head in Oahu and enjoy hiking to waterfalls!

I really wish the excursion desk was open more hours, and had more staff taking care of all the people waiting in line, and did not service people who cut in line, even when the line waiters tell the staff. Probably the worst excursion desk experience ever.

The Pacific in January is cold and choppy. If you want to go to Hawaii in January - Fly!. The food on board is not very good. We didn't starve but what we did have was very limiting.

Expectations were not high, but we were pleased overall.

Embarkation was confusion and lines, some nice shows and comedians to watch on the way to Hawaii, Great visits to beautiful islands at each of our port of calls in Hawaii, interesting experience in Mexico, and the drudgery of disembarkation.

We did this cruise to see Hawaii. We disembarked at every port and did excursions. We saw lots of beautiful sights. We did not expect much from the ship and therefore were not disappointed. The best part of a Hawaiian cruise is seeing the Islands.

Overall NCL experience is average. Service is fine but not spectacular. Ship was in decent shape but not a bit worn in places. Food was very average. Cruise is expensive because there is no competition. And that is before all the nickel and dime NCL imposes. The reason to take this cruise is to go to the islands (hence a higher rating) without packing and unpacking every few days.

This was a great way to see all of Hawaii at one time.

All ports were fun, Big Island port would be better in Kona instead of Hilo...….
