The Pacific in January is cold and choppy. If you want to go to Hawaii in January - Fly!. The food on board is not very good. We didn't starve but what we did have was very limiting.

Service and Staff

Our room steward and his assistants were great. The wait staff appeared overworked and it reflected in their attitude and demeanor. Some were friendly, most were not.
Ship Quality

The ship's layout is awful. The ventilation for the casino is awful - I smells smoky from the The ship's layout is awful. So inconvenient having to get to the aft restaurants. So many empty dark rooms. The library is literally a hole in the wall and left to passengers to stock. The design is of an old off the strip casino that has seen better days. The pink and silver decor is very dated and gaudy.
Cabin / Stateroom

Room stewards kept the cabin clean. Typical inside cabin. OK for 2 people, would be tight even with really small kids.
The city is too busy. The best views were from the ship, especially the second day when we were berthed by the clock tower. Can't see beach or ocean through all the tall buildings. The City Tour was just so-so. Mostly sitting on the bus looking at buildings and expressways.
Why would anyone get off here? We took the tour to "La Bufadora". Don't bother. The tour guide barely spoke English, the weather was cold, it's a lure to get tourists to shop. You have to walk through on unpaved dirt road through a mass of vendors to get to see a spout of water.
