Boarding in Barcelona was the most organized and quickest we have ever experienced, as welll as disembarking. We would not hesitate to book the Equinox again.

Loved the brand new ship and various places to eat, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Cannot wait to go on our next cruise.

GUEST SVC REPS WERE NOT SUFFICIENTLY TRAINED/KNOWLEDGABLE REGARDING TRANSPORT OPTIONS BETWEEN SHIP/CITY/AIRPORT/ETC ... MULTIPLE REPS GAVE WIDELY DIFFERENT ESTIMATES OF COST/TIMES ... SOME APPEARED INDIFFERENT TO GETTING BEST INFO FOR CUSTOMER ... ESPECIALLY POOR AT CIVITAVECCIA ....

overall is great

the ship was in excellent shape considering its age. Very clean and manageable. The staff was very helpful and professional especially our waiter Benjamin and assistant waiter Aurora as they went over and beyond to make our dinning a pleasure.

Good entertainment, very bad meal.

The ship was in good shape and plenty of activities onboard. Loved the fact that there were six ports visited.

If you like being on a large ship with great entertainment and a casino, this is for you. Expect long wait times on the elevators. Even though there are 16, there are 4000 people using them on 15 decks. Don't like that no wine is added to gourmet meals. Also, get rid of the annoying picture taking.

Will never sail Carnival again (current gold level VFIP). Inattentive and poor service in steak house. Disinterested dining staff at buffets. Room steward from hell. Smell of sewage around ship. Elevator to deck 11 and higher not working properly. Long waits for anytime dining.

Ship renovation was very nice. Many of the flaws from the first voyage were fixed. The pool was still not available, but the cruise staff promised delivery on third day of voyage. Pool was finally opened as per promised date. Food was excellent, great variety both in the Lido and dining hall. Liked very much the concept of the theme restaurants (Cucina del capita no, Jiji's, burger joint, blue iguana Mexican). Cruise staff was extremely courteous and professional. Went far in offering good service.

The Western mediteranian cruise is fantastic stopping at all the major cities.

Italy,France Spain Majorca.

Did not use the restaurants on the ship ate all our meals from the buffet.

Loved the rear pool and bar area, perfect for sea viewing.

Balcony and cabins good, service good entertainment good.

Met people on board who had been on a 32 day tour and loved it.

This is predominately an American ship so mostly American passengers.

This was my wife and I's first cruise and enjoyed every minute of it.

Ship interior was old and worn looking. Not as grand looking as other ships I have been on.

Dirty, lots of things not working

We had a great time and the ports were a lot of fun. Great dining staff / service!

It's a BIG ship! I don't like traveling with a lot of kids running around and this trip had them in spades. I had the strong feeling that everything offered was done to make more money even after I paid double for my stateroom as a single traveler. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful however. My dining time was set at 9:30 pm so I only made it to the grand dining room once. The food was just not that spectacular. Because I went sightseeing in ports of call, I was too tired to stay up until 9:30 to eat. The size of the ship was such that people I met once, I never saw again in a week. Not great for ambiance.

From start to finish they treated us extremely well. Have been on numerous luding a previous Carnival Cruise. They stepped up their service as well as food to make me want to travel Carnival again. This particular cruise went to places where you normally wouldn't go which made for a more enjoyable trip. Got to see Croatia and now would want to go back. The only negative comment I would have is I was in room 8218 and in the evening we heard the noises from floor 9 which was the Lido deck with people scraping the chairs back and forth for some reason. Luckily they didn't do it all night. I would probably want to get a lower level next time.

The ship was very clean and the staff attentive. Our room was a surprise. It was more spacious than we had anticipated, very well arranged. We loved our balcony. We were both impressed that so much variiety in the menu was offered. Lastly, as first time cruisers, we were shocked by the stability of the ship. We hardly ever knew we were at sea.

Being used to taking North American cruises, the cruise did not give us any good tast in our mouth.

The ship itself is very nice, clean and all employees are always looking for ways to asssist you
