Review summary

Ship renovation was very nice. Many of the flaws from the first voyage were fixed. The pool was still not available, but the cruise staff promised delivery on third day of voyage. Pool was finally opened as per promised date. Food was excellent, great variety both in the Lido and dining hall. Liked very much the concept of the theme restaurants (Cucina del capita no, Jiji's, burger joint, blue iguana Mexican). Cruise staff was extremely courteous and professional. Went far in offering good service.

Ship experiences

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very courteous staff. They did really take good care of us.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This is a fully renovated ship\, many of the areas were new\, so ship was in impeccable condition. The only problem was a bad smell that came sometimes in the lobby area. It smelled like sewage.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I stayed in a balcony cabin. Smaller than other carnival cruises I've been. Also stayed right below Lido deck. Quite noisy in the morning as they were setting up breakfast (you could hear rumble sound made by carts used by restaurant staff\, very annoying when sound was at 6 am in the morning)

Pros: Great value for the money.
