We chose the Spirit for a second time because of the itinerary. The shore excursions we selected were wonderful but the Spirit needs to be updated-signs of wear are apparent. Additionally, since guests are charged the gratuity beforehand, in my mind there is no incentive for the cabin stewards to go out of their way to please! The attitudes I have encountered are lackadaisical at best!!

I am happy with most of the areas. The excursion was very upsetting. The Brazilian guy who present the excursions is completely lack of passion and interest. The material were very outdated. The images are really bad. One thing I found it unacceptable was at Alicante. There was a free shuttle available but it was never mentioned anywhere. Not even on the daily new letter. This is very unsetting to us.

Menus need updating if they are to be accurate & NOT misleading. In Le Bistrot: there was NOT a chèvre croquette on the chèvre salad, just some bread cubes with a honey/goat cheese spread (gag!) Also instead of RACK of lamb, there were two chops like those served in Cagneys. In the main dining room: the Caesar salad had NO white anchovies, but quite dark brown ones. Not the promised more refined quality. And the Bananas Foster came with raw bananas floating in cold caramel sauce. Waited 20 minutes for properly sautéed warm bananas. There is a way to quietly clear tables without clanging all the dishes: teach the bussers ! BRING EARPLUGS. There is a lot of noise in the public areas.

First cruise on NCL. Had its ups & downs. The flooded corridor was not appreciated and should have been fixed before we boarded. Not lots of activities by day. Only three sea days so we were tired after visiting so many ports of call. One of the best cabins we have stayed in. Give them a try.

Would do it again. All the ports were interesting, tours were very good.

Took this cruise to see areas I had never been to before. Enjoyed the cruise and glad I went.

This is an older boat with not much to do. The pools were closed most of the time due to heavy seas and was cold enough that sitting outside for long periods of time was not possible for most of the trip. The boat has no real activities unless you like to gamble, and there is are only 6 English speaking tv channels 4 of which are news, 1 sports and 1 movie channel. Also there tends to be an older crowd on this boat which isn't bad but those are the type of activities you'll find on the boat. Don't bother with the internet, its a colossal waste of money. You can't ever get logged in and when you do its slower than molasses. The food wasn't that great, best place to eat we discovered was at the blue lagoon. Also since everyone has to eat breakfast at the buffet the seating is difficult to find unless you go outside which is alright unless its cold. Overall the ship experience was poor but the stops were excellent.

There were a lot of highs and unfortunately a lot of lows with this cruise. Looking back we really like the ports that we visited and overall the ship was clean and the onboard staff that we interacted with were great. We enjoyed all the lounge acts and give a particular shout out to Pablo in Henry's Pub! He was an amazing guitarist and had a quiet humor that always made us smile. The down sides were that they changed our itinerary and we didn't get to go to Casablanca as planned, the quality of some of shows were below what we expected from NCL and the food was pretty much below grade. Other than the meals we had at the steak house, if this was a $12 a plate restaurant we would not go back.

Oceania is an excellent cruise line with outstanding food and service. Ship is beautiful and staterooms are excellent. Penthouse Suite is remarkable. Entertainment is poor. Wine tastings and culinary classes are a very good and excellent. Shore excursions are pricey. No children on board. Older passengers. Casino is great and usually empty.

This was our third trip on Explorer and it was every bit as good as the others. The food, service and staff make sure nothing is missed in making your experience special. The staff make an effort to know you and the smaller ship allows you to meet other guests too. We will definitely be back.

Luxury all the way! Enjoyed our cruise. Hotel in Barcelona was a bit busy.

The food was good. The other guests were terrific ! The show venue filled very fast with good shows filling by 7:15 for a 8 pm show,

Royal Caribbean delivered consistent, excellent service again!

Third time I have traveled on this line. Except for entertainment, I was satisfied.

This is a beautiful older smaller ship with elegant decor and great service. We missed B.B.King but enjoyed cooking and library and other options. The small ship is wonderful to get around on and enjoy fellow cruisers. The ports allow the smaller ships to dock and great options on places to see in the areas.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip trying to have a positive attitude. However, although the ship is beautiful, MMSC lacks good customer service and more food options!!

It exceeded my expectations and I'm recommending this cruise and Royal Caribbean to all my friends and family.

Great new ship. Easy to get around. The caviar was the best.
