Review summary

We chose the Spirit for a second time because of the itinerary. The shore excursions we selected were wonderful but the Spirit needs to be updated-signs of wear are apparent. Additionally, since guests are charged the gratuity beforehand, in my mind there is no incentive for the cabin stewards to go out of their way to please! The attitudes I have encountered are lackadaisical at best!!

The stage shows by the ship's performance crew were outstanding!!

Children's Programs

No children. That being said, prospective guests need to think long and hard about bringing infants on a longer cruise. Too often, other passengers are held hostage on shore excursions by parents bringing infants along to cry and fret the entire time!! Separate shore excuriosn options should be made available for these parents.

Overall, the ship was clean however the windows in the balcony rooms needed a thorough cleaning as well as the glass in the Starlight Theater!!!
