We had a great vacation on the Celebrity Silhouette. Friendly staff, good food, and excellent entertainment. I would definitely recommend this cruise vacation to friends.

It was a fantastic experience cruising with our families for the first time. We've cruised with both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, but unfortunately, you don't combine the number of nights for our loyalty programs at the Royal Caribbean.

Nieuw Statendam is truly an amazing experience. It is worth following this ship's itinerary for a superior cruise.

Not sure if all MSC cruises are this poor. We will go back to cruising with Celebrity. Staying on 14 was a nightmare -- noise from above all night long, sounded like moving carts and furniture 24/7.

There is not one thing I would have changed about my cruise. I enjoyed all of it and the staff is so friendly and helpful. MSC made the trip at each port so easy and accommodating to get into the city center and back to the ship.

Absolutely wonderful! From the ship itself to the crew to the food to the lectures to the excursions-everthing was wonderful. Viking earns their number one rating! They take care of the little things as well as the big ones.

Best cruise we have ever done, the ports were all so fascinating and we had plenty of time at each port to explore.

Love this 7 day cruise with MSC. The cruise had great amenities and entertainment, great food options. We visited 5 key locations: London, Hamburg, Bruges, Amsterdam and Paris. Great excursions that allows us to learned a lot about their culture and enjoy the people and food. I highly recommended.

This was one of our favorite cruises - The food was excellent. Loved the entertainment and the ship was beautiful.

I AM A FREQUENT CRUISER AND THIS WAS THE WORST SO FAR - AND EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTING BECAUSE WE PAID MORE FOR THE AUREA EXPERIENCE

This was our first Viking ocean cruise. We did see the northern lights in both Alta and Tromso but due to the storm of the century (winter hurricane in Norway) we were kept in port extra days in Alta and Tromso and eventually taken by charter flight from Tromso to London. Viking was wonderful and worked tirelessly to try to move us as comfortably as possible. Given the unprecedented circumstances they did an outstanding job. The cruise itself given all that, was lovely and we have booked two more Viking ocean cruises.

Overall a nice Holiday Cruise, the ship was fully booked and in winter which limited some of the usage of outdoor space and thus the indoor public spaces were crowded. I think my of the venues were too small for the number of people, and therefore became overloaded and service had a hard time keeping up. Also, they way the itinerary worked out Hamburg was on a Sunday when it is essentially closed. I would suggest future winter cruises in Europe try to be at sea on Sundays, as much of the cities are closed.

Very nice cruise. Staff overall very good. The ship has people boarding and disembarking at each port. A little annoying having to listen to life boat safety drills at each port. As with many European ports you will need a shuttle to get you out of the industrial dock,$$. Please note that if you do not get a drink package, the only drinks included are* breakfast-juice, coffee or hot tea. *lunch & dinner- bottled water, hot tea or coffee.

We saw the Northern Lights on 3 nights. The ship announces the sightings in public spaces and in the cabins. We will sail with Cunard again. We have cruised 5 times. Each time was with a different cruise line. My sister and I agree this was the best.

We went with my sister and had the most wonderful time. Enjoyed the shows so much. Meals were so wonderful and all staff so friendly. We meet so many wonderful fellow voyagers. Some were even from our state of Tennessee. The galas were wonderful and enjoyed getting dressed up and felt very special.

This was an excellent itinerary which lost 2 ports due to a massive storm. Captain did a fabulous job keeping us safe and still getting port days. Miraculously we only had one extra sea day. Guest services and Shoreex came through with replacement tours and the weather while in Port cooperated. Highly recommend this cruise.

due to weather we were unable to disembark in two of our scheduled ports. The excursions were informational but short. The cabin was very disappointing. Sewer smell from toilet we deducted the trap was draining and sewer gas was the issue. Very loud in our cabin couldn't sleep a couple nights

Meh!! It would have been a great cruise if it had not been cold and raining and that combined with rough seas made it quite uncomfortable. When we missed one of the most interesting ports ( Amsterdam ) due to bad weather we ended up spending over 30 hours in a very rough English Channel before returning to Southampton.

The weather was not right for this ship as since most of the days where cold the pool area and the waterfront were useless. The ship felt very crowded because of that reason.
